  • of the 1911 is your fav then whats you 2nd fav handgun

my 2nd gav is browning hi-power

  • @beserkerpatroit1337

Hmmm...if you mean airsoft pistol then its a bit of a tricky question as im currently waiting for Tokyo Marui to do their S&W M&P pistol which looks very nice indeed. Until they do I have to be honest and go with what I know and say the TM Glock 17. They are reliable, simple to use and accurate staright out of the box.

But for RS then it has to be either the H&K USP or S&W M&P. Purely due to their availability in .45 which the Browning HP doesn't have.

  • Hey what's the name of that green mat?

  • @SamWazamTV

I have no idea as it has no makers name on it but just do a 'Google' search for modelling/cutting mats and see what turns up ;-)

  • I WANT THIS DAMN THING!!! I am not joking when I say I would DIE to have this handgun... or more accurately, a PAIR of them.

  • @WhitewolfRogue

Ha ha ha! Cheers mate but its not for sale ;-)

If you do want one (or a pair!) then don't die just yet lol but try the Western Arms version which you can buy straight off the shelf but its not a good skirmish gun at all!

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop ~~ I really couldn't care less if it is or is not a good skirmish gun. I am simply a man obsessed with my long slides. My grandfather used to have a pair of custom made .44 magnums, and he could fire them like they were pellet shooters. But myself, I can turn just about anything into what it isn't even meant for. I have a talent for it. And I don't care what anyone says- I would literally give every drop of my blood for a pair of those long slides. BEAUTIFUL pieces, they are.

  • @WhitewolfRogue

Do a Google search for them and see what turns up with regards the WAs version. If your that into them you will love the WAs ones ;-)

Is that the Dirty Harry guns, the .44 Magnums? Nice cylinder guns ;-)

  • Dude I am deeply impressed here :D, would you say all these fabricated parts are skirmishable?

  • @ZACY29

Definately, as this gun is now used regularly when I skirmish at my local site.

Its reliable, accurate (because of the longer inner barrel) and has good range but all internals are standard TM parts. I will eventually fit a tightbore barrel and a Nineball hop rubber tho.

  • Very good, i am happy to see something like this (how to make) vid here. good job , good quality.

however i want to ask why do you select AMT hardballer longslide T1 style ? Airsoft version of T1 style and a regular one AMT is already out like 5 months ago from Wester Arms (cost aprox. 380 $). If i were you i would make a short regular AMT because its missing in Airsoft arsenal so far :-( , and i would like to put it in my collection.

  • @Godpit22

Thank you for the compliments its very much appreciated my friend.

I was aware there is a WA version but as I don't particularly like the WA guns and prefer TM as they are more reliable for skirmishing etc I opted to make it using the TM 1911 as its base and as a bit of a challenge really.

With regards to making a standard 5 inch version, you yourself could just take what ive done here and adapt it to suit and then add it to your own collection ;-)

  • Nice vid mate!

  • @karenpaul1970

    Cheers mate ;-)

  • Did you put in a longer inner barrel? ^^

  • @AssandraVonAsura

Yes I was hoping to get a Madbull tightbore 6.03 type but had to settle for a homemade (thanks Womble) VSR barrel cut down and customized to suit. That said it worked brilliantly and saved me a few quid to.

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop oh sweet~! ^^ thats pretty cool, I was just wondering ^^

  • well done!

  • @PanncakeMixMods

    Thank you.

  • so do hi capa triggers work in tm 1911a1s?

  • @MistroJoe

Yep all TM,WE and Clone triggers work in each others pistols so a Hi-capa one will work in a 1911a1 type.

The only difference is the trigger bow they are attached to. The Hi-capa one is wider than the 1911a1 type, this is due to the magazine well varying in width.

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop if I use the stock tm 1911 trigger i can use any trigger as long as its in a tm 1911?

  • @MistroJoe sorry I meant to say trigger bow lol

  • @MistroJoe

That is correct, you can use any trigger so long as its attached to the stock 1911a1 trigger bow. ;-)

  • wow, hope it ends well

  • @perreterecon

Well she is going to be fully assembled later this week but untested for firing. She may just blow apart when it comes to it...gulp :-/

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop how are you going to atach the cutted barrel and other things? melthing it?, and if the slidde is plastic, dont be afraid of blowing it up, the gas will be enougth to move that enormous slide

  • @perreterecon

The outer barrel is sleeve joined and supaglued together. It should hold as there is little strain on it as the inner barrel and hop unit are taking most of the work load. I did think of putting an uprated spring in her but I think she will run on a standard. It will all be in the testing ;-)

  • would be nice to see you assemble this project in front of the camera. no speech, maybe just a bit of background music, and your hands converting a pile of parts into a magnificent piece of hardware :-p

  • @svendewulf

Hmmm.. and it gets away from my droning on.. lol

However this idea of yours sounds very good for a future vid. Would need pre-planning, i.e. all painting and filling would have to be done etc. I like it....watch this space ;-)

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop well when the project is done, you could do that. just take it apart completely just to create the biggest pile of parts possible :-p so complete frame dissassembly, also the slide, BBH. just take out every little screw :-p might end up making the vid 30min or so :-p haha. i'd love to see that

  • sweet project!

  • @Solidsnake951

    Cheers my friend =D

The last coat of 'Halfords' Ford-Stardust silver paint has been applied to the frame and slide, now to fit the Millet/Bo-mar rear sight and begin assembly. I have a temporary inner barrel which has been donated for this now but will have to go with a standard hop rubber as the Nineball one is still on order.

Just hope she will cycle correctly :-/

  • what type of paint did you use on your barrel?

  • @tictac4949

I used chrome 'Plasti-cote' on the outer barrel.

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop does that mess up or slow down the slide moving back and forth on the barrel? and also, can you get it at home depot or lowes or something? thanks alot.

  • @tictac4949

Ive painted barrels on previous projects with no problems at all with slide cycling. You should be able to get this particular brand of paint at most D.I.Y. stores in the U.S. as 'Plasti-cote' is a brand on its own and is sold here in the UK at most D.I.Y. stores.

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop thanks alot :)

  • I think it is for the movie Watchmen too and what are the grips going to be?

  • @lee19702

The longslide in the 'Watchmen' film is a Springfield type not an AMT, as Hardballers are nolonger made.

The grips im unsure whether to use the correct AMT type (customized TM MEU wrap-arounds) or just the ones from the film which were black standard types.

  • wow your amazing. I like watching these videos

  • @coolhislop

    Glad your enjoying them =D

  • OMG!!! TERMINATOR!!! YEAHHH!!!! I remember seeing that 1911 when i was a kid and thinking. DAM i want one!!!

  • @driftinsti

    Ha ha ha!

I had an idea but was a bit worried as to how to accomplish it. I couldn't resist the temptation in the end and took the plunge....gulp! Just hope she works after all this effort lol.

  • are you planning to find the optic?lol...

  • @TheM14ebr

I wouldn't know where to look lol.

This I think will have to be a scratchbuild but its finding the materials to do it. I have a cheap red pen laser pointer I can use and the RIS rail, just not the grip mount arm and adjustable scope mount.

I have a friend who maybe able to get hold of some carbonfibre tubing for the laser body.

This will be a whole project in itself.

  • This is gunna be a special piece when its complete, cant wait to see the gun finnished! But I guess youve got quite a bit of work to do yet, good luck. :D

  • @LukeMiller94

Yes its a special project alright, had to be for the 1911 centennary.

Earlier today the final coat of silver paint was applied and she looks beautiful. Im still waiting on the inner barrel and hop rubber, so it maybe awhile till we see her in action.
