  • El Duque finally retired :( Retire that man's number....ASAP! He's a big part of that championship run!!!!!! WAR EL DUQUE!

  • I don't think The Cone was gonna catch on like The El Duque

  • @TittyTittyBangBangXX Everybody do the Cone no, maybe every body do the Coney no... Everybody do the Conehead no...

What about the Boomer for David Wells?

  • While El Duque was never a great pitcher in the big leagues, he was the most fun to watch.

  • Still makes me lol The El Duke with Coney and Sojo classic

  • One of those commercials that leave a mark, so many years later I'm searching it on You Tube!

  • They should make that a real dance. :D Everybody, let's dance "The El Duque".

  • Greatest commercial ever.

  • i think ive seen this before, even tho i dont live in ny

  • lmfaoo holy shit i love this commercial! I didnt notice that was brock lesner!

  • ROFL

  • BEST THING EVER OMG.

  • 0:25 Brock Lesner lmao

  • THIS COMMERCIAL IS SIMPLY THE SHIT=D

  • This commercial almost literally made me pee myself laughing the first time I saw it! I LOVED Luis Sojo!

  • I used to love this commercial. lol.

I didn't remember it being an Adidas commercial, I thought it was an MSG commercial.

  • Absolutely, YankeesGooner! Sojo: the last Yankee to have a World Series-winning RBI.

  • Sojo was soooo the man...

The guy was the REAL HERO IN 2000!

  • Damn i miss the late 90's yankees team because they had guys like Tino, Knoblauch, Brosius, Bernie, Paul O'neil, El Duque, Coney, Clemens, Mendoza, Stanton, Nelson etc. At that time the Yankees were that damn good and hopefully they start another dynasty with CC Sabathia, Burnett, Texeira etc.!

  • Yea man , totally agree! Lets hope we start another dynasty! We finally have the pitching to do it!

  • Without question. We need to bring home # 27.

  • we did lol

  • CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!

  • Damn right!

  • Coney, why don't YOU have a dance???...Sojo's the man

  • Great stuff!

    Definitely the Yankees' best years!

Reminds me of the GREAT 90 years, people were so cool back then.

  • I know...

people in the 2000's are so damn obnoxious!

  • the the duke.

  • yeah i know what you mean, too long... :/

  • do u remember the ansky guys? what the hell is ansky?! lol

  • I met Sojo day after game winning hit of 2000 World Series against the mets, great guy.

Great time to be a yankee fan back then. Now we have a bunch of overpaid underachievers and no team chemistry. Except for the three musketeers Jeter, Posada and Rivera.

  • Here's some trivia for you - that's Clay Bellinger standing to the left (our right) of Sojo. Coney insisted Clay appear in the commercial to help him out financially.

  • Cool- I always like Bellinger.

  • @Bondcliff03 he stunk. Remember when him and shane spencer battled it out for left field back in the early 2000s? ha. Spencer was supposed to be the next babe ruth, his home runs per at bat rate was equal to babe ruths, no joke haahah

  • @narnia16 wow are you serious?? thats weird. Were they freinds??

  • This takes me back to HS, too.

I'm a Mets fan, but I loved this commercial.

  • I remember this commercial, anybody remember the one with the guys with "ANSKY" painted on their stomachs"

  • yes i do

the guys get into the cab, "What the hell is ansky"

  • I REMEMBER THIS COMMERCIAL!

  • This commercials brings my high school memories

  • This and the other "Only in New York", commercials are great. Why don't they make commercials like them anymore?

  • HAHAHA I remember that shit!!! Bringing it back

  • Jesus, that takes me back. That commercial basically defined a solid year of my childhood.

  • Most of the '98 Yanks appeared in commercials. I even remember one for the Fat Toad Irabu.

  • @aka98765

YES!!! It was when was supposedly pitching an awesome game, and the Ansky guys ran out of "K"'s for strikeouts so they use the "K" guy, and end up hanging him and the commercial ends with him saying "I don't wanna be the K anymore..."

  • Amen to that!

  • don't forget Chuck Knoblauch :) and Alex is NOT ovverated

  • Keep in mind, Jetergirl211, that I made that comment before A-Rod went on his amazing HR streak. Now, I realize, he is one of us. P.S. We need Chuck bac, too!

  • you idiot theyre all retired but orlando. and Arod is the best 3b in baseball 300 36+ 120+ every year. shut the fuck up and go chear for the mets.
