  • Songs been stuck in my head for about 4 days so far and im blown as fuck...

  • SABBATH saves lives!

  • Fruitcake.

  • This is hands down, hands down!, the best Sabbath song ever! The universal truth of all of their acid trips coagulates into the lyrics of this song. This is what we all forgot upon birth into this world. That and the riff rocks your face off.

  • sabbath knows the truth, man. awesome song

  • lovin it dodidodododidodidodothankuforuploadingdodidodododidododidodido

  • Dio Sabbath is not Sabbath at all. It is Midget music.

  • @thcdreams654

    just one thing... STFU

  • @thcdreams654 Dio with Sabbath isn't bad, but I don't think of it as Sabbath. For me, the last Black Sabbath album was Never Say Die.

  • god dam that opening riff is just music to my soul

  • A brilliant track from a great album, A timeless classic. The 70's was the greatest decade for Hard Rock.

  • That opening riff is the perfect metal riff.

  • @2WK09 I agree Dio was pretty good i guess but he didn't stand a chance against Ozzys voice.

  • @HulkHoganfan89 well i cant disagree with you on that one....no ozzy,no real Sabbath......but Dio did actually pretty good on that album with Sabbath.....i recommend you hearing at least a track or two from it..........

  • @HulkHoganfan89 well that doesnt sound pretty nice......at least you have those right....3 is better than none at all

  • @HulkHoganfan89 you gotta get all 8 or 9 that ozzy did with Sabbath dude......seriously you are missing out on ALOT of awesome stuff if you only have 3 Sabbath albums

  • Please bring back the great music, the bellbottom jeans, and the great cars @ trucks

  • @destroymen105 Check out FU MANCHU.... Old Vans, dune buggies, and sludge stoner rock. You'll dig it.

  • Such a great album to get stoned to :)

  • @Hughesy16LFC Exactly the memories it brings back for me when I was a kid. The things that pass through my head when I hear this. Love it.

  • Still waiting for those lyrics....haha jkk.

  • @Pawelepra It looks like a queen-size with memory foam. lots o' company at this sleepover.

  • wer zur hölle kann das cover von M.besser finden??? AHNUNGSLOSER;UNWISSENDER;UNWÜRDIGER

ich war 14,als das Album herauskam UND MEIN LEBEN BEGANN!!!

    BLACK FOREVER.

  • I think that cover by Metallica is better. Sorry.

  • @peixefbpa WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!?!?!?(btw im not saying there is anything wrong with you liking that version better i respectfully respect your choice of music) just saying that you like the version that is not even the whole song......just sayyyiiinngg........

  • Me favourite Sabbath!

  • i despise cover by metallica

  • @radzio777 They love Sabbath but have own style which has made them great.

  • @radzio777 Metallica will never be on the same level as Black Sabbath. Only Tony Iommi could come up with such an amazing and unique riff such as this :D.

  • Love this song, Black Sabbath fuckin rules.

  • This is the theme song for my unbelievably odd life.

  • It's actually one of the best on the album bro I get chills after some 20 years rock on!

  • Fade to black anyone?

  • @ShAnDu95 I like that one when I'm feeling down.

  • @ShAnDu95 Exactly what i thought.

  • oh my how metal has fallen since this they did ok for awhile but new shit just cant compete

  • this song is so fuckin' good! they pretty much invented Iron Maiden with the badass guitar riffs in this song.

  • The immortal beloved, Music Never Dies!

  • 2:16

    please

  • I've always loved this song, but I don't think I've ever realized how long it stays in your head after you've heard it. I've been humming this damn song for about two weeks now. :)

  • I feel weird commenting on my own video, but I just listened to this song for the first time in probably four months and I got fucking chills haha.

Anyway, thanks for all the views guys and keep supporting metal. :)

  • @MetalMusicOfficial This song is so badass!Thank you for upload!

  • @MetalMusicOfficial dont feel weird you experience the music very much the same way we all do

  • TONY IOMMI RIFF MASTER GENERAL !!!!!! THE BEST IS AND EVER WAS!

  • tonny iommi riff master general supreme sabbath fuckin rules

  • i hope ozzy finds a way through this pagan shit and lives forever!

  • I think it;s worthwhile to learn this entire album on guitar

  • @guitardudeguy00 yes..its a lesson in blues mastery..like most of iommis stuff...master the blues and you will master metal

  • THE THOUGHTS AND IMAGES, THE UNBORN CHILD THAT NEVER WAS CONCEIVED....that line sent me on a journey through the cosmos on a journey into the promised land of Shangri la...

  • Were Sabbath commercially successful and much listened to in the early 1970's?

  • @johnnycheck99 they were very successful until ozzy went off the rails mentally and the band sacked him.

  • @johnnycheck99 yes very successful...but then achieved legendary status which skyrocketed....but early stuff like paranoid debuted on american charts

  • @johnnycheck99 Their 2nd Album in 1970 was VERY popular with VietNam Vets who were drafted into war...The song Paraniod may have been on a 45-rpm single..Not sure...Commercial success was around the 1970 release of Paranoid and very little, if any afterward.....Black Sabbath is still THE Band that raised the bar for Heavy Metal and in the opinion of many including me, IS the 1st Heavy Metal band with that doom/gloom tone!

  • 70s 70s 70s damn great music,Opens a can of fockyou, to all that came after like Vanilla ice,Mc Hammer and all that other crap of the 90s.

  • Treat your life for what it's worth and live for every breath.... JUST FUCKIN' DO IT.

  • This old Sabbath stuff rules. To me, "metal" in later years doesn't even resemble this. This is good old, dirty classic rock. The funny thing is, the critics never liked them. But I bet if this exact album, or Vol.4, or Never Say Die, came out now, and nobody knew who they were, they'd be critic's darlings, everyone praising their retro sound.

  • @MckyMseNTarotCrds I don't think future bands will have this kind of sound .... Although sabbath rules they aren't mainstream anymore. Mainstream now is autotune and electric techno. There's no attitude in today's music.

  • was reading Faust by Goethe & listening to this song, I saw the black dog that night to... He is real Satan. This song is about Him.

  • i can never get tired of this song

  • people often shit on sabbbath's lyrics but I actually like the lyrics to this song. I mean its as creative as they could be with lyrics, with geezers writing. They aren't atrocious but often Geezer leaves a lot to be desired. These are pretty good though. BUT MAN THAT MONSTER RIFF. I LOVE THAT RIFF. THE RIFF GODS DEF BLESSED IOMI!!!

  • According to the Barry Taff interview @dominionliveradio this was one of the songs which set the demons off in The Entity case... ;)

  • @omgwtfbbq34 the riff is similar to sabbath bloody sabbath

  • I heard this riff but for the life of me couldn't remember what Sabbath song it was. Thank goodness for Shazam is all I can say

  • felt like ive heard 5:00

that some fag band copied it

  • Man!!! I just have to keep coming back and listening to this guitar riff. Its One of sabbath's best if not the best. I don't really care for much else about the song than that riff. AWESOME!!!

  • @noblesiner Yeah. The intro riff and the one at 4:39. fantastic.

  • @noblesiner I agree about the riff. Sabbath should have used it through the entire song.

  • @noblesiner i think metallica was inspired by this riff on fade to black^^ right?xD

  • sent here by @madflavor on twitter

check ya self b4 u wreck ya self!

  • @2TheDeath

Big dicks in ya ass is bad 4 ya health

    Stay Black.

  • @YorgosonPV The apes are breeding their race off the Earth....and this is good!!!

  • @YorgosonPV lmfao JOEYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • @YorgosonPV Cos that`s the most important thing...

  • A masterpiece, which--as I've stated before--would make an excellent little ballet--like Zappa's 'Little Umbrellas'. Sabbath and The Mothers were good friends.

  • @jannyrcobs Comparing Zappa and Black Sabbath deserves a thumbs up!

  • @sonicdeath10 It's really too bad that they never pulled off the gig that both bands wanted to do: a Zappa/Mothers/Sabbath record. They tossed the idea around for years. They had so much in common in terms of musical influences and centrist politics--neither act leaned too far to the Left or to the Right. Apparently, Osbourne and Zappa kept in contact in California right up until Frank's death in '93. It's so unfortunate the two great acts never made it to vinyl together.

  • @jannyrcobs I'm a huge Zappa fan and I've never heard that. It's really interesting though to consider Zappa and Ozzy as friends. I can see it definitely, I just wouldn't have thought so otherwise.

  • this song kicks so much ass, it ran out of asses to kick.

  • @SuperRockgod666 kinda like you ran out of ways to get a thumbs up

  • @TubeFreakification yup. i'm a troll and i'm proud.

  • Living and growing up in a 3rd world country that has now gone into a 7th world country...This album was my TREASURE as a LP Record... Totally banned then..

I still have it... and the DVD at last..

    VIVA KAFFIR SOUTH AFRICA,,,,,

  • When I was 14 my mom brought home "Live at Last" I knew she finally understood me and my passion.

  • only sabbath can write a song about cum and make it awesome

  • GOD I LOVE THIS RIFF. IOMMI IS A GENIUS!!!!!

  • this song is fucking FUCKKKKKK theres no word to describe it

  • Awesome Ass Song

  • that hiccup in the music made me shit bricks

  • @Gyphia Hahaha, nice...the only to top that is if someone does exactly what you did, while hiccuping!

  • What's that hiccup at 2:35?

  • i dont even know what my fucking name is lol

  • one more CRAKER brings up this shit mettelica i will personlely {elley} come to your house kill your mom rape your dog & smack your dad you peice of fuck you

Secondly, Get a new youtube name munnybunny666 just isnt a scary name, get one like "Death Death Hell Death Satan" Now thats a scary youtube name.

  • @Kylef7735 or worse yet vevo

  • @Warior79 I can't agree on that. Vevo aren't scary - they just piss us off. Hey any one wanna go and blow up their server(s)?

  • i am the world that hides the universal secret of ourrr timeeeeeeeee

  • Please the lyrics thank you

  • uno spettacolo di canzone .... mitici bs

  • Listen to this awesome tune and realise that it has power and punch unlike the copies out there; pure controlled energy

  • The best part is 4:51 , the guitar makes me happy. I guess Metallica feels differently cuz they didn't cover that part.

  • when I seen Metallica's version I was like "o shit" but when I heard Black Sabbaths version I was like "Fuck Yeah!!!!"

  • all music is influenced by what came before it...

  • @nipplebrush Precisely!

  • Metallica's Fade to Black was inspired by Sabbath's National Acrobat, in my opinion. Many songs are inspired by other songs. Both efforts are excellent.

    Rock hard, ride free.

  • only about this u all wanna fuck up?if really they are copying sabbath's riff den why until now both of the band dint give a fuck about it?so stupid.only about that also wana argue.unmature!now stfu and enjoy this Black Metal!peace

  • Listen fade to black at 3.56 - 4.53

It is the main riff of national acrobat(with some differences obviously)

When i first discovered i was HOLLY FUCK. Cross play the 2 songs begining with national acrobat and i promise you a smile.

National acrobat 0.01-0.14 then fade to black 3.56-4.10

Please guys thunb up this post because i get the same question all the time.I am not talkign gabout a rip off here but for a "genius" steal. It took me years to find it out.

  • Metallica are metallica. Sabbath are Sabbath. Who really gives a f**k who is better. Nobody could ever replace either. I was there in the early 70's growing up with Sabbath and buying their albums. People have their opinons - fine. These guys were fortunate to be there in the 70's and if it wasn't them it would have been somebody else. The world needs more rock bands and not pansy shite. Metallica, Sabbath, Purple, Rainbow, Maiden, Rush, Priest and Floyd - they are all Gods. Rock must live!

  • @Henrykissenger i'm not so sure that if they hadn't been there then someone else would have done the same thing, sabbath did something special, rock n roll was started by quite a few good bands, but metal was non existent before sabbath, and every metal band after them for 15 years were heavily influenced, even bands after them owe the the genre of music they play to tony iommi

  • @theSodMonster

    Amen, Brother. \m/

  • @Henrykissenger Yup! i say this repeatedly! MUSIC IS NOT A COMPETITION!!!! go watch footbal or hockey or baseball for competition! I do every day! Music is to make you feel and think and groove! i hate the --Joe Blow vs, Pecherwood type vid's with random spliced riffs and leads from each of the players or bands. its as fun as watching an egg boil!

  • did anyone notice the number 666??reminds me the song the number of the beast 666

  • @cepiefoc

friend, you must be a genius or something

  • The long nails surround your fingers you can not move......the darkness keeps you you from crying out for help.......you are possessed.

  • I am the world that hides The universal secret of all time Destruction of the empty spaces Is my one and only crime I've lived a thousand times I found out what it means to be believed The thoughts and images The unborn child that never was conceived When little worlds collide I'm trapped inside my embryonic cell And flashing memories Are cast into the never ending well The name that scorns the face ...
  • black sabbath can go fuck their mums (with lube)

  • @paramorenom1fan I'm glad to be hearing that from a paramore fan, it would be rather tragic if you also liked Sabbath.

  • @paramorenom1fan <-gay troll. NO REPLY! if u reply you are a bigger fag than u are right now.

  • @paramorenom1fan

fuck you. How bout you try it out first. If you ask any metal band that started in the 80s and 90s what their influences were they will say black sabbath.

  • @paramorenom1fan if you dont like them then dnt watch the video

  • THIS SONG TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN I WAS LIKE 8 YEARS OLD, MY DAD STARTED ME OUT RIGHT

  • @fotmkultra And you ended up not knowing how to turn off caps lock.

  • They are just brilliant!

  • metalica would rock if lars wasnt a crybaby like wayne gretzky or george bush

  • metallica would be the beest metal band now if they hadnt sold out

  • @skelatur I love you man, I seriously love you so much

  • Metallica is a poor substitute for a Black Sabbath band.

  • @smilingpug YOU GOT THAT RIGHT,AND AFTER ALL THIS TIME, METALLICA SHOWS HAVE NEVER HAD THERE NAME FOR THE WORLD,THEY FUCKING POSERS,,I WILL PUT IN DARK FORCES TO THERE END,,FOR THE FINAL SHAME, THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT MAN

  • God listen to Geezer work that bass. Ozzy claims that he (Geezer) wrote the majority of the lyrics in one hour.

  • 2:33 massive song skip fail

  • Comment removed

  • Why the fuck write a song about an acrobat? That is so random.

  • @KayoteThunder ... a national acrobat...a national acrobat... big difference.

  • @KayoteThunder It's about DNA and the circle of life. One big circle and all that..

  • Greatest Sabbath song of all time. It really embodies all that these guys were capable of.

  • CHILLS! This brings back a rush of memories from my childhood. Awesome stuff.

  • one, of the many blacksabbath songs, that is more than just words..

    this is thoughts & images.

  • Sabbath does this a hell of a lot better...

  • In all sincerity i have thought the same thing, berylman, this is possibly the best song of the 20th century :)

  • if this was a muffin and i ate it,i'd be sent back in time

  • @jackzabbaththeband ...and you'd be high as hell. The muffin would take you into the presence of Bill Ward, c. 1974.

  • @brnleague99 i already was.

  • In all sincerity this might be one of the best songs of all time.

  • @berylman IT IS

  • arguing on the internet is like the special olympics, there may be a winner but you're all still retarded.

  • O CARA ESTÁ CERTO... PARTE DE FADE TO BLACK É CÓPIA DE NATIONAL ACROBAT

  • Metallica's remake somewhat does it justice

  • Thanks for you work uploader. I haven't got this album.

  • 2 dickhead :@

  • 1 motherfucker.-

  • Fade to black is a genius "steal" from this song.Because when a great band decides to steal from another great band the result is another great song!

  • @Kourtifer fade to black?? what part of this is in fade to black?

  • @hammettshlomi Listen fade to black at 3.56 - 4.53

It is the main riff of national acrobat(with some differences obviously)

When i first discovered i was HOLLY FUCK. Cross play the 2 songs begining with national acrobat and i promise you a smile.

National acrobat 0.01-0.14 then fade to black 3.56-4.10

  • @Kourtifer metallica are overrated.yes people, bombard me with thumbs down.

  • @xDrugsAndAlcoholx Agreed. Very overrated.

  • @Kourtifer How is fade to black a steal from this?

  • @Kourtifer Desperate, talentless bands steal, not the great ones. Right?

  • @Kourtifer I was just thinking the same thing

  • @Kourtifer how does "Fade to Black" rip off of "A National Acrobat"?

  • @Kourtifer - "Talent borrows; genius steals."
