@medicade yes they run on the stock or high performance cams. These heads are a bolt on using standard intake manifolds, pistons, cams, headers and have accessory holes drilled in the ends of the heads.
Actually, the required spring pressures are lower per valve, but about the same from the perspective of the pushrod and tappet (and, by extension -- no pun intended -- the cam lobe and camshaft proper). For equal levels of power, the Arao head requires generally 10-15 degrees less duration (with the attendant reduction in net valve lift), meaning you can actually see a significant reduction in spring pressure at a specific rpm or higher rpm with the same pressure.
The kit in the video seems a little outdated but it seems to work, why doesn't every US v8 has this? Lighter valves, more airflow..? is someone sitting on a patent or something like that ? This design should be updated to 2011 mixed with direct injection and every street muscle can have 1hp per 10cc!
so do these heads run off the single cam the stock 350 has? just wonderin dont now much about these heads

what other changes were made in regards to power besides the heads? Compression change? cam? intake? etc.

@rubbernutz1 No kidding i've been dreaming for years ... Twin-Turbo big inch small block with Arao heads ... dream on.

I thought 2V/4V terminology was strictly Ford? as in Venturi and port size.

I'm assuming you recommend, if not require, the use of a roller cam, to handle the added pressure of two extra valves?

amazing, what about for a small block ford like my 5.0 mustang?

should have been 32 valves since the 1990 Lotus/mariner designed Zr1 lt5.
Definitly buying heads
