  • John Belushi played one of Talia Shire's old boyfriends in this movie - please post those scenes.

    Thanks!

  • Someone else has already posted them. Search on John Belushi.

  • What I see in the mirrors is a representation of Diane. While Jeff is shaving we see her reflection in that small round mirror leftover from Jeff's wife - he doesn't use it . Diane the new wife, but she's reversed from reality, which is what her character is. She's going to make Jeff think she wants him and then she dumps him. BUT the camera changes and we see the whole thing is a reflection in ANOTHER mirror, so what's the real picture? Who is the real Diane? That's what the film is about

  • Thanks a lot for posting this. I guess I first noticed Richard Jordan from Woody Allen's "Interiors" and I thought he was cute. Very good-looking, actually. And I've always loved Ms. Shire's performances----how naturalistic and effortless they've always been. But please help me with the mirror symbolisms. I guess i'm not smart enough to notice them?

  • BTW, "Interiors" is LOADED with symbolism - did you catch all the bars in the scene between Jordan and Keaton where she wants to go out with friends and he won't? Bars on the headboard of bed, bars on the stairs when he says he's afraid he'll kill someone if he goes out, even bars on the sheets on the bed. Frederick is a dangerous man headed for jail, and he's already in one big prison married to Renata and can't get out. Can you tell I love symbolism?
