hey there zoomlens...want to thank you for posting this on here when you did. I stumbled on this site when searching for other boss hosses. i am the original owner of this 2003 Boss Hoss 502ci. I've spent a lot of money on this machine. Currently it has 2007 upgrades, a 3" drive/pulley system and 275x35 18 rear tire. This Boss Hoss has a stock 850 quadrajet carb with a Chopper City custom air breather and now produces approx 525 hp. I am considering selling this bike. $50,000.

@Zoomlens ... we moved to Clarks Summit, PA 14 months ago...there's a lot of Harley guys down here...currently, there aren't any BH's in this area that I'm aware of...we go to Steak&Lube on Wed nights and Damons on Thurs nites for Bike Nites.

I think you dont need any more than a Nice chrome 113cuin S & S motor.

A V8 is real heavy

You can do other stuff to the S & S motor and still keep the traditional V twin profiles that I like

I personally like the lines on a Softail like bike

I can tell you true, the city milage is dismal at best... but it's fun when people gawk at the concept. Most people who know car horse power, can appreciate the insanity. Highway travel is about the same as a truck pulling a trailer for milage... but it's smooth... and it's the only bike that doesn't know Mountain roads are any different than a straight away. And yes... fast and furious as it is... the tranny won't let you speed shift to prove the Crotch rocket's wrong.
