best movie ever made me cry i love those dogs and i felt so bad for gerry to leave them. rip dogs as this was made a long time ago and the dogs im sure are very old. i hope your all together hanging together playing in the snow and chasing birds!

@cankat917 my siberian husky (Kai'Leigh Bear) just turned 1!!!!!!! she looks just like demon, black and white trim with blue eyes. Love the dogs in this movie, they are prob getting up there in age......go to your Valhalla puppies......love 'em so much! Run FOREVER......

Old Jack IS Demon. His name is Apache in real life and my best friend has one of his grandkids. He's an awesome dog and his offspring has that loyal and passionate personality.

I really like this movie. I even like the golden retriever that is in the movie for like 5 minutes, because it so much reminds me of my old dog.

This is actually based on an incident with a Japanese expedition, but in real life most of the dogs died. They were Sakhalin Huskies, not Malamutes or Siberians.
