Thanks for the review! I just bought The Prep+Prime with the SPF today and I am glad to hear you like it. I'm anxious to use it tomorrow when I do my makeup! Thanks for all your videos! :)
hi. just wanted to ask you if you did get the mac prep and prime? as i have dry sensitive skin and abit scared to try it incase my skin react's to it. i have oily t.zone aswell. let me know and maybe you can give me a tip on how to apply. thanx
hi..was just wondering what the ingredients are for the one with the spf..just wanted to check whether its a physical or chemical sunscreen..as long as there is zinc or titanium oxide i am happy..
I have used the prep and prime skin base or 4 days now and love it. I have fine line and pores and love my foundation/minerals over it. :) I will have to try the SPF as well. Thanks 8)
does MAC Prep Prime Skin Base cover pores. i saw the face protect at cco but wasnt sure if i should get it or not . i have oily skin so wasnt sure abt the product.
Thanks hun !! Also since you told us abt ordering thru mac pro website , i wanted to know how much is the shipping ? and if you have any idea how much are the blush pans for ?
What I did was ordered through my mac pro store you just call them up and they send the items to you. I spent $7 for shipping. As for the blush pans it's $18.00
I really need a good product with SPF 50 because I have very fair skin and am prone to skin damage. Does this dry out your skin? I have really dry skin as well. Also, can you use this over moisturizer and anti-aging skin products? Thanks, awesome haul!
i think the regular one is a good value indeed. It doesn't have the spf but then again that's what lotion is for right? lol awesome video-like always!
yeah I've heard about this before.. Have you tried Smashbox Light version of their primer? I think it works better and it's water based. Anyway, I think Mac primers are my second best choice. I still feel comfortable and confident wearing their primers.
so the spf 50 does not have shimmer while the non spf does have slight shimmer? and does both make the foundation staying power lasts all day? :)

use a light amount. I find the MAC Prep and prime with the SPF 30 is thicker so I would try using the regular prep and prime.

hey my skin colour is basically the same as yours. is the spf 50 primer a primer/sunblock or is it a primer/sunscreen?
and did u find that the spf50 made you look like weirdly white/cakey?

Hi, I really like your videos. Do both products have shimmer? And is it more of a metallic or sheen shimmer?
MeganEilandx 3 years ago
I don't notice any shimmer with these primers.
SephoraJunkie 3 years ago
@MeganEilandx i have the one without the spf 50 , and i did notice a shimmer, but its a sheer one and not obvious with foundation over (:

It makes the foundation come our smoother as for blocking the pores I'm not totally sure. I haven't had any breakouts using this primer.

Good products indeed, but I thing Smashbox is the leader when it comes to face primers. Just my humble opinion :)

I wish I could do smashbox but unfortunately I've had skin problems with their products :(
