Nice job on the video dinger. The Fisher F4 is one of the detectors that I have been considering upgrading to. There are a few detectors in that price range that have no motion pin pointing but I have not been able to find much feedback from someone that has one with this feature or somebody that shows it working. How would you rate this feature on the F4? Thank you very much for taking the time to put together this video. It has helped me tremendously.
Yup. A good job. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2nd hand one of these cos while my chinese model detector has done me proud in the last 12 months, I really want that VDI number!! Great vid mate thanks for doing all that!
Hi Dinger51 great video. I just got mine in the mail today . I have a question for you . Hope you can help. When i use the pinpint button it will works Great . But the only way to get out of the pinpoint mode is by shutting the machine off. It does not reset when you press the pinpoint button again . Please help if you can . Thanks if it is supposed to reset back to search mode when you press the pinpoint button the second time please let me know so I can get one that works right .
Used Fisher detectors for over 30 years,6a, 1266, 1280, and nowthe f4. great detector super company to deal with. broke the vul knob on my 1236x2 sent it back to them and they fix it at no charge.
i am considering getting the f4 or an f70 but i would like too know how well it preforms near pawer lines and doas it lose deapth when you notch up that ground balance knob
If you can afford the f70, get it. There is a problem with power lines. You will have to turn down the sensitivity on the machine. I still like it as a light coin magnet!!!
@inytay1 all machines will have power line issues even the $3000 metal detectors you cant prevent it cause..... well you have to understand how the metal detector works as well as electricity to understand its too hard to explaine
this help me a lot i was going to get a GTP 1350 but i can save some money and get this one how is the depth in the ground is it deep well it look better than the garret and i like the tones and screen great vid keep them coming get one outside if you can bro
thanks for great vid, i have an f4 and love it too. Please could you do a video of it out in the field and demonstrate its ground balancing, if possible. As this would be very helpful to many people.

tone mode?
JacSPierce 3 years ago
There are 3 tones. They are low, med, and high. In All metal mode there is only one tone that is low loud.
