this song has been played in the background of every other RPG I've ever played...hmmm...oh, and I can't bring myself to go back to the game now finally after having played it for probably somewhere around 500 hours. Nevertheless, no MMO has yet taken up the reigns that UO still holds.
I missed this game, never had the internet at the time. But many share the sentiment that this was the best ever mmorg.Shame nobody can take what made this great and create another.
@Whatever4690 what made this game great was that it was the first ever MMO of any kind. I mean we literally had muds and duke nukem. Now there is only server firsts, while still fun, they are only a shadow of the excitement we felt everytime that little treasure chest popped open to hit the play button.
my hat is off to that statement. i was sad when orgin sold this game to EA and it turned to shit. lord blackthrones revenge was the last good expansion they came out with.
it is funny how this reminds people of UO. when I played UO, this song didn't exist, in fact it was taken directly from ultima 9 (which was released far after UO was released) and inserted into the game, along with most of the other songs after the blackthorn's revenge expansion. it's kind of awesome in a way, UO is so old it has meant different things to people at different times..like a work of literature, or classical music.
....:( oh man the nostalgia, i remember this in the old days of ultima, i no longer play it, but i remember this game so well, and the music :(..... i miss this game.
This track is the most cruel way of realizing how fast time flies by. God damn it.

It's also the opening music of Ultima 9. When Hawkwind is telling you what to do.

Thank you for uploading. It's hard to find this on Youtube, especially in the few UO videos on here.
This is my favorite song from the game, it reminds me of everything UO was.
