I have this CD and I don't know about anybody else that has every been down in their life but there were times when I felt alone and felt like I didn't know how I was going to make it through some rough moments but it was God using Shirley Caesar's music to speak to me, especially this song. I used to sit and cry releasing my cares upon the Lord and because of the encouraging message that she delivered through her music, I was able to find peace and God brought me out of my storm into a new day.

My mother loved Shirley Caesar when I was little. (And still does!) Her voice was so strong and distinct. A true spiritual diva.
I'm an Atheist now, but I can still appreciate GOOD gospel music for it's melody, vocal feats and passion in their voices. :)

My Mom passed away at the age of 46 in 1990, my sister Carla was hit and killed by a car in 2001, my brother Dave passed away at the age of 29 in 2004 and my brother Richard passed away at the age of 31 in 2006, My Mom and my two brother’s died from a congenital heart disease called Marfan Syndrome. I was just released from the hospital I was just also diagnosed with the same life treating disease plus a type B aortic dissection,this song changed everything I know God has a purpose for me.

This morning when I woke up I was feeling bothered and my heart and mind felt heavy. I was ironing when I started to hum this song. I have not heard this song in over 15 years.
