Allen is a genius. For one to combine such deep philosophical concepts such as existentialism with silly slapstick humor..... hysterical jokes married with morose Ingmar Bergman inflections....just masterful. One of the greatest film makers of all time, imho.

@NegusNegest At the beginning it starts with "Alexander Nevsky", not the score of the film of Eisenstein but from the Cantata op.78, I think("The Crusaders in Pskov").

4:01 is from "Scythian Suite" (Ala and Lolly) op.20. With this ballet Prokofief tried to make sth. similar as "Sacre du printemps". Allen chosed this special record because it´s played too fast, so whole is scenery remains redicoulous.

My summury: Allen is better than Eisenstein!
