These projects are all possible, even more so today than any previous era thanks to the advancements in structural engineering and material science. The success of such large structure rests more on the side engineering/science than money.

The good thing about Dubai, is that the best of the world is working there to develop those projects; Japanese, Koreans, Germans, British, Americans, companies from all over the world are the contractors for the projects. But the merit on top of that, is the government of Dubai for preparing it land, its people and their money for the prosper future. The Gods would be proud to see a city like this within the creation once they come back from the heavens some day.
They are not impossible, nor failed ideas. All of them are possible, and most probably accomplished in the next decade. Dubai is the perfect city for the projects of the new world coming, like auto pilot system for cars, anti-gravity transportation systems and fusion of robots into society. Not to mention a link from the passenger hub to a future space port with connection to terrestrial orbit hotels and operation stations for solar system explorations.
@LegendsXXboy yeah and the dubai city tower is gonna be 2400m high! all are real and all are going to become true, but not now, once dubai gets over its economic problems... the queston is not "if?" but "when?"

All very nice. But Dubai first has to clear it's 80 billion US debt. Overextension is a real danger for Dubai.
