I feel sick about this vote. The legislation removes civil prosecution but not criminal prosecution. Obama has stated that as president he will instruct his AT to investigate and charge any violations of civil liberties that took place during the previous administration.

The ACLU stated today that it is filing suit regarding the telecom cases - against whom I'm not sure. I was going to throw a small contribution Obama's way, but I'm considering sending it to the ACLU instead. I'm pissed
