We as Dutch were on it in august this year we had a lovely trip,it would be a national loss if there isnt enough money to keep it, Hope it wil last another long time.God bless.
All the old traditional tunes in the world won't save the Waverley. People will have to actively "git their hons in their poackits" and help save her and continue to operate beyond 2011. Other than that , "she's ontae plums"
First song sung by Robert Wilson of Cambuslang a world renowned Scottish tenor in the 1940s and 50s. The film looks like early 1990s going by some of the weel kent faces aboard (including the late Mr Dunlop Walker at 3:12 and a young Mr Neil Rolland selling the sadly missed Waverley Times at 6:28).
we've an old army corps of engineers dredge here that's been converted into a restaurant...so we have our dinner with the workings in plain sight...nice...I like this music, takes me back also :)
