Nope, no physical journals...just online journals. I was thinking about physical journals the other day and kind of wished I had written in them when I was younger so I could go back and laugh at myself. I loved your entry about David Bowie! Priceless!
I kept a lot of online journals going years ago, but every couple of years I would go through the entries of them and be embarrassed by myself and end up deleting them all. I started one up again about 2 years ago and I still use it today. I'm overly vague in entries now, so I know if I go back to read them in a few years time I'll have little to no idea what I was complaining about :)
I always wanted to keep a diary and made many attempts, but it never fell through. I had things like livejournal when I was a lot younger too, but I felt like I only ever wrote when something was wrong or upsetting me, so looking back on entries I was just like 'oh Adam CHEER UP' hahaha
Man you have a lot more diaries than I do. I started my first Diary at the same time you did, but I didn't finish it until last year. I also ripped out half of the pages because I thought my younger self was an idiot. I'm working on a new diary now, and it's just as slow going as the original. It's fun looking back.

My first date was at 11 years old, a double with my best friend and two lovely girls from school set off on this wonderful romantic journey on the London underground to Madame Tussauds, only we spent the entire journey sitting at opposite ends of the empty carriage, avoiding contact...There was slightly less avoidance when we arrived, but overall I think we had more interaction with the wax works...
i have 2 diaries, i switched to online blogs in like 2005 but on and off had a written journal. My one from my 9th grade year could practically be a young adult book. Also I was the same as you when talking about how "next year i'll be more outgoing" I can only imagine what a 14 year old girl's diary says now.
I have been keeping a daily video diary since December 19, 1988,,, the day my oldest child was born. Hopefully one day, I'll have someone edit them and upload them all online. It would take ages, but it might be cool.

As for journals/diaries... I did some when I was a kid, but they were always so random and sparse. I don't think I ever completed a whole journal, and now I never bother.
Melody, I cannot explain how much I loved this video. I wish you could make more..sharing entries...and commentary....That'd be fantastic. I love to read and the types I enjoy most are diaries, journals, travel-journals, etc...It makes me feel as I am a spying on folks...or being allowed SPECIAL ACCESS into their private lives...Actually, I have attempted keeping journals in the past. I quickly gave up on that each time. Fearful someone would READ THEM!!!!! Please make more of these vids!

@bowiechick For some reason I thought you were an only child. But I do remember you have a nephew and niece in a few videos a couple years back. Maybe you just give an only child vibe.
@DemeterSearches I'm the youngest, with 7 older siblings and a bazillion nieces and nephews. I'm not particularly close to any siblings so many times I felt like I was an only child in a way...
I used to keep a diary on my first computer in a Word document from when I was 11 until 14. I'd love to read it now so I could remember what my early teen thoughts were like but unfortunately, the hard drive for that computer died and I never backed any of it up >_<
Oh man I kept diaries from elementary until like sophmore or junior year of high school then I kinda forgot about keeping up with it or kinda got bored with it. In high school I used to even carry around a little diary with me and it got stolen by a guy I liked one time! I chased him around the drama building until he gave it back, because obviously I had written stuff about him in it that I didn't want him to read. Going back and reading my old diaries is embarrassing so I destroyed them >_<
My journals are exactly the same. Boys I loved at the time, how fat I was and how I was going to lose weight, next year will always be better, etc. My handwritten journals eventually turned into online journals. I never got into the vlogging though. I'm too shy for that.
@Amelapa They seem to be the things many girls worry about, unfortunately. I maybe could have actually done well in school if I was to put the same energy into learning. >_< I also moved onto online journals. I had some LiveJournals at the same time as writing in a diary. I think I just like talking about myself. :p

I never kept a diary but I used to blog about my life on xanga and myspace all through middle school and through part of high school.
If you didn't already know, I was a very weird and extremely confused person back then. I probably still am.
