Thanks so much for uploading this fascinating programme. As a fiddle player from Northumberland/Scottish borders area it was great to learn about the Donegal style. I must take a trip there soon!
I got to spend a month in Ireland with Caomhin Mac Aoidh and got to hear some great Donegal fiddle music as well as have a few pints along the way! Great music and memories.

Thanks. It was very interesting to hear an explanation of the Scottish influence in the Donegal style. --Joe Bowbeer w/The Irish Experience

When was this filmed?

@joebowbeer
I believe it was produced in 2005 by BBC Northern Ireland, so it was most probably filmed in 2004/2005.

Hi, It's one of a series of films my brother made on local musical traditions when he worked at BBC Nothern Ireland.
