hey, i have fair...ok not so good gear for moonkin. i pull off 3.7k deeps and i kina learned some tips from u. i haz a question. i have around 2100 spell power and 22k mana raid buffed, and sometimes i run oom in battles. i think now i have around 24-25 spell crit and i was wonderin, ur lack of "Moonglow", and "Dreamstate" is based on the fact that you crit so much right? or is it that you have the 4 piece set that makes ur moonfire critable? not to mention, isn't typhoon an mana waste?

this is answering the typhoon question. and it depends what your doing as a balance druid, PvP wise its a good spell to have handy, raid wise its still good to have if there is a bad tank. but if your not PvPing it really isnt that necesary to have. if you look at her talents she doesnt have it anymore, look her up on the armory and look at talents

their should not be that large of a difference in your dps,hell in raid you should most likely be doing less. in normal 5 mans their is no switching off bosses to adds, and they also have much less resistances and overall in a normal u hardly have to stop casting. in raid u should be decursing, battle rezzing, killing snowbalds, bone spikes etc. if ur pulling 5k in a normal, max u should be pulling in a raid is 6k, even with the added buffs

u can do research on a class, spec but nothing will be better than what you are comfortable in. just because ppl say arcane is better than fire doesnt mean it is. its whateer you can do, the spec has nothing to do w/ it. level up a spec u want and then stick w/ it at 80

Best advice i can give is this: Make your choice early. Want a Boomkin for the Raids? Level him Boomkin. Elemental Sham for raids? Level him Elemental. I did both and so far pretty much have a very good idea as to what my rotation is.

There is no right and wrong way. Learn early, and master it before you hit 80 ;)

single target is nothing teh real thing were you need to move sometimes is the real deal. 5k on single traget nonbuffed moving around 4.2-4.6k

because stoping casting getting feared takes a big hit on your dps like 2k dps if u get feared will not hurt u that much but the big like over 3.5k it will i also just use insect swarm every 10 seconds to keep that extra damage up

I have a 80 boomkin named taar on stormscale i see people saying that boomkins need major crit. i only have 17% crit on my boomkin and i pull 4.5k dps on a steady base self buffed. and this boomkin in the video is ok at rotation this will help new boomkins at the begging but it gets much more complecated. and typhoon is a waste of a point in the talent tree. You probably don't have enough hit and my boomkin have like 1.6k at 78 lol. When my druid first hiy 80 I was doing 2.5k in heroics in greens and blues. So you must have low hit or no hit. It could possibly be your crit as well cuz boomkins need a ton of crit. Idk dude but if you want to send me an armory link in a personal message I'll look at it for you and try to help.

IFF then IS then MF spam wrath til proc ---> starfire til end proc, reapply dots, spam starfire til CD is finished is obsolete now with the two eclipses on second cooldowns, spamming starfire after its proc is finished will usually go into the wrath proc, which messes my dps, typically :S SUCKS.. i agree with feralus69, i have not yet figured out the best rotation for 3.2 regarding these seperate CD's. someone please make :) boomkin FTW

what i usually do is cast MF then IS then FF spam SF till eclipse then spam wrath then when wrath procs eclipse i do MF then IS then spam starfire to refresh the MF but thats just me

Disregard this, chain proccing eclipses make's these rotations and most of the advice obsolete. Someone plz make a new 3.2 boomkin vid so ppl wont be sucked into doing this during 3.2. I am able to maintain 6k+ on all fights now due to the different 3.2 rotations now in effect (12-13k on vezax,hodir)

I'm using the insect swarm idol from Kolagarn ulduar 25 and usnig wrath eclipse instead of starfire, as wrath has more based dps instead of starfire, but it drains alot more mana since starfire has the +3% additional crit chance etc from insectswarm etcetc - still, I do 4.7k dps on dummies.

Hey Broadcastius i only respeced yesterday and Natures Grace was i think 3/3 its actually Very usfull when it activates as im doing pvp for my new gear. I think Natures Grace should be like a trinket were you activate it for say 30 seconds then it has a cooldown but otherwise its a good Spell/spec thingy

I know nature´s grace is good, it didn´t do any good for me at the level I was in and therefor I underestimated it. One thing though. I don´t see how starfall really benefits you in pvp, wouldn´t it be better for you to have that in gale winds or intensity? Also, your idol does you no good, the simple idol of the moon would even be better.

are u serious...dude natures grace is completely necissary to a boomkin's dps. if ur a good boomkin wrath and starfire usually have 35-40% chance to crit plus raid buffs thats like 45% chance to crit on SF and MF and when i dps in raids my natures grace probably goes away MABYE 3 times in a fight when i dont have it so fricken 20% speed almost all the time?
