Thank you! Yah, I didn't originate the term - I'm not even sure who did, but it's really the only term that fits. I'm not sure we have the strength of character to do what it will take to end it, to be honest - To do so would be...brutal. That's really about the only way to end this conflict.
@OrionXIII Yes, there is a sizable portion of America that wants to, and believes we can, fight a "humane" war. Unfortunately no such thing exists. I suspect many such like attitudes will change when they see a New York City, or LA, or Boston disappear in a mushroom cloud. Even then, there will be those who dissent against the cries for revenge. I suspect they will either flee or find their end hanging from a lamp post.
I suggest you read Caliphate by Tom Kratman. I think it's prophetic.
Too true. Have you read 'The Three Conjectures' by Richard Fernandez at The Belmont Club? I think you'd find it VERY fascinating reading. When it does happen, I'm fairly certain that the majority of liberals will, as usual, blame the US...
