I'd love to hear stories of its actual application in combat against allied forces in WW-II. I heard it was primarily used by Kriegsmarine for U-Boat to U-Boat secret line of sight communications. The Americans have a more sophisticated version today but you probably won't find any specs on it on the Internet. This thing is amazing! Karl Zeiss out did himself on this one! Yes, are you right, but I want to say that is a wonderful invention for the ww2 era. When I say "amazing" I refeer to a wonderful invention in the past era. I think that you misinterpret my words. I know that germans in a half 20th century had a great knowledge on technology and nowadays too.

Good to see this video, what a beautifull piece of equipment.
This stays high on my wishlist but the are so rare.
I mainly work with my 10watt sender and UKW EE.
I really love german ww2 communication devices.
