  • Never did like Wagner. He should do some sort of time for just leaving her there!

  • This broad had world class tits when she was young...Google 'em!

  • sounds to me he let her die. drunken night leads to murder!

  • And Walken's role in all of this? I think one these two gentlemen had something to do with it.

  • We were not there. We can not judge. I, do remember when this happened. I remember how distraught RJ was, I remember the rumors of his affair with Stephanie Powers due to her consoling and general caring of her co star. I remember he appeared generally upset. I remember the story was that the two men were arguing, Natalie had enough, then decided to leave. However, Lana seems to know what her sister would not have done. Truthfully, they sound like drunken, white trash: arguing with your guest!

  • RW SUCKS !

  • WHY WHY didn't they settle and talk about this 30 years ago?????? They would've charged and jailed someone on the boat if it happened today.

  • Look I hate to accuse anyone of anything without proper evidence. But I do have assumptions and beliefs, like most do.

I would have searched for her, called the captain and done everything to help save her.I would save anyone, but especially someone like Natalie,a talented hottie!Anyone who leaves such a beautiful woman to drown is a killer.

  • R. J. should be good as gone.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X at least hes trying 2 come clean u cant blame a person who is trying 2 repent from his sins

  • HE married 9 years later LOOK it up.

  • @faithlaurie he and Jill St. John were officially a romantic couple to the public by Valentine's Day 1982, barely two months after the "accident". They finally got married 8 years into their relationship.

  • Haven't watched the news or read the book but looks like Natali'e's family wants to open the case seeing what Robert wrote about her in the book? Watch him say he can't remember, bet it'll be ultimate to get from him.

  • Drinking caused many tragedies, as Lana said if Wagner did it he had paid the price by knowing it all these years but has been easy on himself ( marrying so soon helped) and should have been easy on Natalie who can't defend herself and who deserves more respect, RIP, can't bring her back but hope truth surfaces soon, would especially help her family.

  • Chilling story? Money that what are looking for. Chan chan. The hell with Natalie's Daughtetrs and how this is affecting them..

  • None of us were there. Any comments are pure speculation and BS.

  • Maybe it is all as you people think. I wasn't there. Liking to think Wagner was fully responsible for a death doesn't mean you have the facts, and that is the only thing that can convict someone. Lots of people are rich, spoiled, privileged, and lots of people are stuck up and they never kill anyone. And in case that doesn't cover it, being a lousy actor doesn't usually lead to murder either. (And this is the only place I've read about drugs. Where do you people get this stuff??)

  • Since my post about the Cap'n's guilt in the matter (just following orders?) I saw the 48 Hours program. There was no mention or even a hint of Wagner saying to leave her in the water. And the talk about bruises on Wood? The officer who found her said there wasn't a mark on her. How do these things get started? Puts a hugely different picture on it, doesn't it?

  • @Kitten6060 - Autoposy report is far more reliable guide than some dufus cop.

  • @Kitten6060 The official autopsy photos don't square with your version of events. Cops have faked, with held, and altered evidence before. In a high profile case like this anything can happen. I think RJ accidently pushed her off the boat and they failed to help her quickly enough. She had hypothermia and drowned. Then RJ panicked, and the weak-minded Davern went along with the phony "explanation." Your "facts" are suspect and incomplete at best.

  • give Wagner a lie detector test!

  • OMG.....Wagner sure taught his beautiful wife a lesson by leaving her alone in the ocean...what a low, murdering creep!

  • ROBERT WAGNER KILLED THIS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND GOT AWAY WITH IT...DIRTY DOG..I HOPE HE GET WHAT HE DESERVES..NATALIE WILL GET HER JUSTICE....I DESPISE THIS MAN...ROBERT WAGNER YOU ARE A MURDERER......

  • Let see. the dumbass captin had told three stories in 30 yrs. New one every 10 yrs. Marti never met Rj, natalie and listening to a drunk, and Lana last year also for Rj to forget her for blaming him. They all want money, they all lossers and have no life. Funny be not one of them seem to worried about what this is doing to natalie's and RJ'S girls. IT ONLY ABOUT THEM AND THEIR'S FEELINGS>>>

  • If RJ suddenly dies (he is nearing the death zone anyway), then this case will really never get solved.

  • Femi-Nazi = Blame it on the Man !

  • Thirty year old joke: Question: What type of wood doesn't float? Answer: Natalie Wood.

  • @Chuck1974 Sick person had to write that sickening "joke". What a nice world we live in. The woman has a family she left behind.

  • @Chuck1974 dude that joke is so old

  • the dinghy story is a theory. she might have been upset enough and drunk enough to try it though. im not sure. i seriously doubt wagner would have done something to jeopardize her life though. he doesnt seem that callous an individual to me. not another oj as far as i can tell. anyway, nothing will bring the woman back. let her rest. people would rather believe the most sensational version of events it seems. she probably slipped, fell and drowned. its sad either way.

  • I was only 12 when poor Natalie died but even at a young age I knew Wagner was guilty as hell, his whole body language, demeanour, lack of explanation, failure to look anyone in the eye and on top of that we had the phoney on TV every week with that Hart to Hart as a constant reminder of him and what he done! I hope this little deviant of a man finally gets what's coming and only then the awesomely talented, beautiful, sweet, kind, articulate and graceful Natalie Wood can finally rest in peace.

  • @MrWhamster1 Yeah I always felt the same about RW. Don't know him personally but he always seemed so cold to me.And if you remember there was always suspicion surrounding him. I loved her as kid. When this new info came out I felt sad all over again.

  • IT WAS NATALIE WHO SAW [THAT NIGHT] ROBERT IN BED WITH THE WOMEN HE LATER MARRIED RIGHT AFTER NATALIE'S DEATH. NATALIE GOT REALLY MAD WHEN SHE SAW ROBERT IN BED WITH Stefanie Powers. No way God will let any murderers or rapist go free. GOD WILL REPAY IN "FULL"

  • @HEAVENLYFATHER3000

He married Jill St. John not Stefanie Powers

  • if she was that afraid of water, why was she on the boat at night, on thanksgiving, drinking fucking wine? think about that folks.

  • I SAW THE SAME THING IN O.J'S EYES...AND THE LIST GOES ON & ON

  • Die, Robert. Die. Sloooowwwwly.

  • Even the dog knows Wagner did it.

  • @AdrianWillis

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THE SAME THING

  • AFTER I WAS BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, I STARTED SEEING THROUGH PEOPLE. I COULD JUST LOOK AT SOMEONE AND KNOW ALMOST EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM/HER. WHEN I SEE ROBERT'S EYES , I SEE A MURDERER.... HONEST TO GOD.

  • @AdrianWillis How awful to say that - but true and so funny! Nothing like a little levity brought upon a terrible circumstance of this death to help others such as myself, not feel so, so bad. I had to laugh at that comment, so thanks.

  • @AdrianWillis I agree.

  • Respond to this video... It's sad to say, but when you have money you also have power... How could you not know Natalie was in trouble.. I mean you were on a boat..

  • @AdrianWillis he deserves 2 get killed im sick of rich and famous geting away with murder and other crimes

  • @Foresightfamily

It isn't all of a sudden. Hollywood actors/actresses always seem to be above the law. Maybe now that he's older and past his prime, people aren't as scared to talk.

  • @Foresightfamily Go to the Hollywood Reporter's website. They have the statements that lead to the reopening of this case. It doesn't look good for Wagner at all.

  • @390bullitt1968 <--However, i believe they said the water-temp. there in Catalina-cove was at least 65*f, --and therefore she may have clung to the dingy for an hour, -while calling for help for 15-min.; --with RW being on drugs thinking stupidly that she was just out there calling to mess with his head. .!!

  • @AryanKnight 65 degrees? Impossible. I have been there many times. Cove is the same temp as the ocean. In southern Ca, the water temp is 51 degrees in late November. A weak swimmer does not have the abilty to call for help as water gets in your mouth. These folks who say they heard her yelling are FOS. The ocean is much different than a backyard pool. She was lkely dead in a minute or two. I also think the Capt is being honest.

  • ~Such is life of the idle rich! Boat Capt.-DD admits that besides excessive wine-drinking, he had given everyone Quaaludes; -both are depressants, which combined leads to morbid irritability, poor decision-making; -thus a dangerously stuplifying scenario. People need to realize that mind-altering drugs of any sort (-all of which cause sexual impotency), -combined with driving or boating never leads to a good outcome. They should have been on icecream & life-enhancing nutritional-supplements.!!!

  • @AryanKnight Quaaludes and 7 glasses of wine to an experienced drinker isn't going to make you all of a sudden forget that deep, dark water is scary as shit. If you want to use alcohol and drugs as an excuse of acting crazy, then you can easily take that same logic and apply it to Wagner and that he also acted irrationally and accidentally threw her in and let her die in a alcohol / drug fueled rage. It works both ways...

  • @1982Lennon <--actually i was referring to the entire lot of them, --asking for trouble by being there on the water bombed out of their minds; --tragic irresponsibility..!!!

  • @AryanKnight True, true

  • Lana also has asked for the case to be reopened in the past, but her requests fell on deaf ears. What's more, Wagner made her life a living hell by cutting of contact with her nieces, having her blackballed in the industry and feeding the late Gavin Lambert with lies and gossip for the very much maligned "Natalie Wood: A Life".

  • Great video. Wagner aside, what was wrong with the captain that HE didn't save her? Even IF Wagner was directly responsible for her being in the water, DD was AS responsible for not pulling her out. I'd charge him too.

  • @Kitten6060 I think that's very arm-chair quarterbacking you are doing... it's too easy to say that now, 30 years later... as it was happening, I'm sure it was drastically different.... Wagner was his boss - he was put in a hellish situation and I think blaming him is a bit over the top

  • Lets face it... Robert Wagner doesn't exactly seem like the kind of guy who's going to jump in the ocean to save ANYONE. I get the feeling that pretty boy would have been one of the first in a lifeboat on the Titanic. He doesn't reek of courage and selflessness. I think it may have been an accident but he knew she was in the water and did nothing.

  • @MsTessG ..what...!!!!...you obviously didnt see the episode of Heart to Heart where he fought off three intruders with a walking stick whilst blind...

  • @HOMEnHIGH LMAO! Funny... :)

  • @MsTessG I completely agree with you. You're analysis of his personality is spot on. This guy was a son of a studio executive. He had looks and powerful connections. He was spoiled. And quite stuck up. I think it was an accident, but he knew she was in the water and maybe even planned on helping, but when he went to do so, she was gone and then he went into panic mode...

  • ~LanaWood's revelation that DD the Splendor's Capt. was like: "Aye'Aye-Sir" when angry-drunk RJW likely pushed NW-W into dark Pacific, saying- "Oh let her struggle awhile, -we'll teach her a Lesson", -was a fatal drunken-stupor act on part of all. While RJW is most guilty, all three men aboard heard her scream- "Help somebody, i'm drowning, somebody help!!! Their not even tossing her a LifeSaver is unconscionable, -tantamount to 2nd-degree murder. How utterly tragic, -they're all complicit..!!!

  • Wagner is a real muthafuker to leave her to die, then defame her later on in a book. What a piece of shit.

  • @MsMaggieOC What did he say about her?

  • damn natalie wood's death really took a toil on lana. both of them were so hot back in the days. these russian girls were hot. so sad about what happened. natalie could still be with us today if this didn't happen.

  • @icefrappe .. all people would be with us today if they didnt die....

  • Natalie Wood was naturally beautiful.

  • I hope the real truth comes out, Natalie was so beautiful & talented. For sure

to much drinking was going on! ALcohol and boating NOT!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone that smashes and breaks a wine bottle on a coffee table in a room with others has serious anger issues. I once drove in a car with a normally mild mannered person and in a second saw him literally explode with anger at a nearby driver for no real reason. He was so mad I thought the other driver was going to be brutally attacked. 2 minutes later the guy is actiing like nothing happened. A doctor friend who is a psychiatrist told me

extreme anger is common in psychopaths. Book em dano.

  • Good job, Harvey. Now let's see some of that investigative journalism that started your career. Few have your caliber of talent for that and it's been a long time since we've seen it. Show the goods that got you to the top of your field.

  • 7:56 I wonder what Wagner said about Natalie in his book thats not true? It appears he was demonising her to ease his conscience and devalue her in the eyes of the public.

  • Wagner killed her is a jealous fit of rage he knocked her over the head and pushed her over board! He was jealous of her friendship with Christopher Walken and suspected more was going on between them. She was drunk and hit her head trying to get into a dingy was just a very convenient story. Hopefully they finally find enough evidence to get him and spend what time he has left(because he is like 81) in prison

  • i bet wagner left her there, because he was pissed off with her. walken was probably in his room.

  • Robert Wagner ..... covered up his hand in her murder, .....he refused to turn on the search lights to look for Natalie, ....really ! what loving husband does that ? There is also an old rumor, that states that Natile found Robert and Christopher engaged in a sexuall act , there were many rumors in Hollywood that Robert went both ways !!

  • @mcbdpb Wow! RJ goes both ways....lol That murdered better go down to the local police and confess.

He must have a conscience or does he?.....lol I believe he is guilty as sin as it sounds like this to me. But police are saying he is not a suspect. I couldn't live with this all that time and would have gone to the police if I was that captain.

  • @jpsmart59 I don't think you can really know what you'd do if you were him... it's really a situation that is just impossible to fathom

  • I thought the interview Charlie Rose did with RJ and ( it is posted on youtube ) , spoke loudly about this issue..........all via body language. Watch it, I found it interesting.

  • @390bullitt1968 Yeah, same here... it seemed very strange. He sort of squirmed and said "it didn't work out" or something... it was weird

  • Lana seems to have been tortured all these years. I hope they all find some kind of closure.

  • Why is she making excuses for her brother in law? Um if you have a wife who is scared of water guess what? You PROTECT HER NO MATTER WHAT!!! He needs to be punished.

  • @ClearwaterCoffee

HE WILL GET HIS DAY NOT ONLY BEFORE THE WHOLE WORLD, BUT BEFORE THE GOD OF GODS. JUST WAIT AND SEE. IT WILL BE SOONER THAN WE WILL ALL THINK....SOONER THAN WHAT HAPPENED TO SADDAM, QADDAFI, BINLADIN...AND ...AND ...AND...

  • My question is after Dennis told Lana all this, why didn't she herself go to the authorities?

  • @bette1908 She did

  • Glad to hear Lana's point of view!

  • R.i.P Natalie Wood We miss you.

  • wow Austin Powers is slowly becoming a film involving some serious criminals. first the Asian dude commits a serious rape and now No.2 is a murderer.

  • he's obviously guilty even if he didnt do it on purpose. he left her out there and she died and so he's at fault. lets see if he ends up with jail time.

  • @BoricuaDelight I agree. I think it's impossible at this point to ever know how she got into the water. But I do believe that there is obvious evidence that he purposely did absolutely nothing about it. I don't care what the reason for not doing anything, there's no excuse for it. Whether it was his image, fear of negative publicity, his anger of her sleeping around... If someone goes missing you immediately begin searching and anything short of that is unforgivable

  • Great ! Lov

  • Wow. What's done in the dark...

  • cute dog

  • @marktakacs I think the dog was board and jumped off her lap.

  • First!

  • @hockeysniper910 Congratz... you probably dont have a life.

  • @madmelidy31 I don't have a life and I'm third. Whats that say about you?

  • @xxx69ajj69xxx its not the #, its the fact that you recieve joy and consider it an accomplishment

  • @madmelidy31 That's a mean assumption.
