im thinking about getting some are they hard to keep up and what is the smallest tank they can live in? i have a few 10gallons and a 55 gallon, any info would help out a bunch!!!
A discus fish can cost between £20- £100 from an aquatics shop, but if you want a prize-winner I suspect you'll have to pay hundreds or maybe thousands. And I suspect you will have to have a very large space for them to swim in because they don't turn very well [I will definitely recommend a cube tank!]. To be honest if you're not an experienced fish keeper I wouldn't bother with them, because it's a lot of money for something that could die straight away and it is a living thing with a life

can i keep one discus in a 10g?
RCGeek1 1 year ago
@RCGeek1 No you cant. Way to small and the discus might die. So dont take the risk.

what size tank would u need for about 6 discus fish
MrSkillsindavillage 2 years ago
130 for lifetime or 150 gallon
sajeevan1 2 years ago
BS. For 6 discus you would need 60 gallons, 70-80 would be nice though.
agiga93 2 years ago
no way that you need 150 gallon tank for lifetime discus.

Interesting interpretation.
I know see things from another angle.

it's boring because it's all alone, and in a bare tank
