I don't understand your first question, but as for the software I used I used Camstudio to record the footage and then I edited it in a trial version of Camtasia.

Yes. I recorded both the audio from my mic and the video when we did this. Usually, in the program I normally use, I can then delete the audio and keep the video. But I couldn't do it in the program I had to use to make all the editing happen on this video. So, typedy type type type.

I do for most games. But for this video and game in particular I used Camstudio for recording and a Camtasia Studio 7 trial for editing. I'm pretty sure you can't record Transformice with Fraps anyway, though I might be wrong there.
