If this the Big Jay McNeeley/ Lillte Sonny Warner version it is not the original Swingin records version it is a remake. It definately is not Little Milton. I cannot find any listing on any discography of Little Milton of this song unless it is an LP cut.
This is definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, Little Sonny Warner singing, with the Big Jay McNeeley Band. I know because I have the CD, which is copyrighted.
Looks like an error.. I see that this recording is credited on this Youtube to Little Milton..But this is the Big Jay McNeeley Band version with Little Sonny Warner doing the vocal duties. Written by Big Jay.
Check this out and let me know what you think.. I have the Big Jay Golden Classics Cd and to me his version of "There is Something On Your Mind" sounds identical to the one credited to Little Milton. You can give a quick listen on Amazon. Youtube wouldn't let me post a link.
@Dorryval This is definitely Big Jay McNeely/Little Sonny Warner. Look it up here on YouTube. This is definitely Little Sonny Warner's voice, it's quite distinctive.
I do believe you and I are on target with this one.. I found the same identical cut to this supposed Little Milton cut on yet another Big Jay CD called "Nervous".
