Oh now, come on dude. On that ending bit, she couldn't dive straight in. If she didn't wait for him to rise to the surface she'd be within arms reach of Jason and she'd die too. And I think even you'd pause before deciding to jump into a lake which you knew had a zombie murderer in it. Heck, for all she knows Jason might already have broken loose. She's actually being pretty brave here.

Come on, Jason V WASN'T a comedy? I mean sure it wasn't FUNNY, but with all the over-the-top cliched characters (particularly the redneck mother and son) it was clearly trying to get us to laugh.

The change between V and VI is that Jason Lives actually succeeds in making us laugh, but more than that it also brings back some genuine fear by having Jason once again stalking his victims. In part V and even in part IV we barely know Jason is there before his victim is dead and the film's moved on.

Just because Jason is afraid of water in FvJ doesnt mean he was in the first ones! Part 4, kills TWO people by popping out of the water! Part 6, runs after Tommy into crystal lake. Part 8 SWAM all the way across crystal lake to Jersye shore to get on a boat (which he then got off the boat and swam to New York! So before you say something else iggnorant, go do some research!

this is by no means a masterpiece but it is one of the better Friday sequels, it's funny,

and in Spanish it's called Tuesday because in Spanish countries Tuesday the 13th is the inauspicious day, one of the best things about this film is the Alice Cooper song "The man behind the mask"
