How is that not true? Go buy some bootlegs and tell me that this tour wasn't up to their earlier standard (entirely on the shoulders of Lou Reed might I add). Lou Reed wanted this tour to be an ego booster- His fiance told the rest of the band that they were "Lou's Band" and not anything else. Go read some VU history ("Uptight" is a good start) and listen to "Caught between the twisted stars" and you'll realize that this tour was an implosion of Lou Reed's genius ego.
