i spent 5 years in rochester for college....have nothing to say but positive things about this city...great people, great food, (dinosaur bbq, nick tahous, bill gray's), 24/7 supermarkets (wegmans), and always exciting places to visit....need to visit soon to see how much has changed in the years since i was last there...

@smacc187 First of all, its called the flower city because its where bread and grains are mostly made in NY. Second of all, say that in a Rochesterians face, like i am, and they will literally beat the shit out of you in under 3 seconds.

About the bridge, why does every new structure, park, building, etc. in Rochester have to be named after Frederick Douglas and/or Susan B Anthony? Is it a law? Enough already.

Imagine yourself in an old, canal boat. This was the route of the old Erie Canal that put you up onto the aqueduct and through downtown.
