Got to see this guy open for Ellis Paul @ the Kate in Old Saybrook, CT last night. Hadn't heard of him and was very impressed. (Bought his CD). When Ellis came on he said he considers Peyton one of the best emerging songwriters out there. Quite a compliment coming from Mr. Paul. Love his voice and playing. I think I heard a little Steve Earle influence coming out. This guy is going places. Gonna share the CD with all my friends.
