@Dricki stat bonuses don't apply to couriers, and if you're talking about movement speed, first we would have to hope that the courier belonged to pyromancer, and hope that tree didn't have enhanced marchers or higher movement speed during that chase. (Also, it seems like a lot of work and thought process just to pull such a move off, since he would have had to thought beforehand to give the boots to the courier. xD)
