  • Let me see if I have this right: the corn kernals are sifted to get rid of debris; boiled for an hour to soften; it's then put into tubs to drain; afterwards it's taken to be ground into corn flour (masa); finally, it's weighed and bagged. Take some masa home. Dehydrate a nopal leaf; grind to a powder mix to taste with masa and knead; press into a tortilla and cook on a griddle or comal. Eat with food as bread. How did I do?
