For those wondering why a 5mW looks so bright, its because the camera picks it up better than the eye does. What he is seeing is slightly dimer than what were seeing in the video.

532nm= brightest to the human eye (green lasers)

You're the douchebag, dude, you shouldn't be using your neighborhood (and especially your neighbors' eyes) as your own little laser show screen to point at whenever you want. That beam will be especially disturbing in the dark, when people's eyes are dark-adapted and they're totally not expecting to be hit with so much light all of a sudden.

Thats how visible by 5mw laser is $11 amazon. Foggy or not, come dusk that thing can be seen 2-3 miles away. Lithium batteries make a difference. Curiosity got the best of me, but I was able to nail the fuselage of the plains over my house. I was pointing towards the tail end of the plain not cockpit.

@tonystark159357 I'm not sure far in distance the light goes, but it's pretty far. Since the beam is getting bigger the further the light goes, it is hard to see the dot, and therefore hard to see if it really hit where you pointed, or if it just seems like it.

hey bro I just purschased one of this lasers for 8$ but it seems to be working bad! When I push the button at the first second it shows a powerful beam but then the power decreases. I mean it's like if it work 100% for 1 second and then goes to 50%. What could that be?? like it loses power. Im using new duracell AAA batteries. thanks!

@johnykonta57 5mW is safe. It won't burn, and it won't blind you. Though you should not point it in your eye(s), since you may get black dots on your vision.
