Not a lemur. It's a Slow Loris. Related to the lemur but not the same. They're found on the other side of the planet from Madagascar; South East Asia/Indonesia. They don't reproduce quickly, their habitat is being destroyed, they are being killed for use in "traditional" medicine. Cute as hell - I'd buy one - but the exotic pet trade is also cutting their numbers down. It's illegal to own them - like that's going to stop people from smuggling them. And so it goes . . .

I just don't know. I guess it's illegal to have one home. It's cute-cute, but you can see it's a little over-weight. Other problem is that where you will find an mate for it? I loved the video cause it's heart-warming to see how he enjoys the caress, but it's a little sad to think it could be separeted from it's fellows.
