This is a very nice lincoln, the riding experience is unbelievable, and has and exterior to match. We have a lincoln mkx, and haven't regretted getting it since.

Beware of the dual climate control air conditioner, the regional rep stated the 2010 system will not be improved, the automatic mode system does not allow sufficient cooling when the ambient temp inside the vehicle is 80 degrees or less. The comfort must be attained by switching to manual and increasing the fan speed and dropping the temp to 60 for max cooling also changing the air to recirculate. This is lots of steps for such an expensive vehicle.

True that - but most of the upscale models are just rebadged models from the more economic and utilitarian main branch (Lexus / Toyota, Infinity / Nissan, Acura/Honda) so what's your point?

Besides, to get the 3.7L engine, you need the Ford Edge sport which is only 3 grand less than the MKX. IMO the MKX looks a lot better and for an extra 3 grand is a no brainer

I always wasn't impressed with the looks of the MKX, but when peeling away the surface, the MKX has a LOT to offer. The Caddy SRX is more striking to look at, but isn't as refined or doesn't have as many toys.

this car would not even be a comparison to the two cars you mentioned... the infiniti would probably be the best overall suv, nothing can beat a lexus' ride and durability, basically as mentioned above the mkx is a nicer versioni of the Ford edge. But I guess everybody has a different taste :)
