@DSmusica That's called "flageolets". A specific way to play a note on the 3th, 5th, 7th and 12th fret...

@DSmusica It's called a natural harmonic, you lightly rest your finger (or bar your fingers) on top of the fret bar and it will give you that sound if you have your fingers in the right place and are only resting on the string. It works better on certain frets than others, the easiest to get the natural harmonic on is the 5th, 7th and 12th. Hope that helps!

Lay your middle finger on the seventh fret, it's called fine tuning too, you tune your guitar like that, just lay it very soft on it, and you can make songs with it :) Metallica uses it too in Nothing else matters! Hope I helped you out.

P.S you can hear the high pitch notes better on the 7th and 12th fret, though they're everywhere, but not as high as seven and twelve. :)
