Ok did you put your fantails in a warm water/tropical invironment? If so that may be the cause of the fish dieing. Fantails are coldwater fish and if you wanna add them to a tropical invironment you should gradually add warm water every cleaning to your fish's tank and then add him to the tropical tank. If you already have them in cold water message me back.

I got a new GIRL calico fantail for around 4-5 bucks.

i have a fantail he really cool lookin.
i just started my tank back and most of them have died already how can i keep them alive.
the longest i had a fish it was a red phantom tetra and it lived about 5 years and i got it from walmart.

yeah i have them in cold water but the fish before them kept dieing so far they have stayed alive i have 2 black moors and a gold fantail.
