The difference between Disneyland & Magic Kingdom is the log-boats. Disneyland is just one-seater logs and Magic Kingdom is eight-passenger logs two by two.

In 2011 (a year ago), Splash Mountain was closed from maintenance due to getting new lap bars on all of the flumes because the cast operators confirmed that guest are getting off the ride little too early.

the drop really looks small, but it is bigger than it looks and it gives you an AMAZING stomach drop feeling! and don't ever forget to put your hands up! it makes it 10X better:)

I have been to Disney World 5 times in the past 5 years! & this ride is like my fav!!!! It has a cartoonish feel with all the little characters and music...but then there is the big drop at the end!!!!! I am such a daredevil but i love to be a little kid @ the same time:) last time i went to Disner i rode this like 6 times:)

@cupcakiny I went on this one last year, from what I can remember we got wet, but not absolutely soaking. Also, if you go in Florida, the weather is usually that warm that you dry of pretty quickly.

my brother refused to go on the ride, what a waste of a fastpass. there's two medium drops before the big drop. it was 90 degrees when we went, so i was hoping for a drenching, but i only got a few drops :(
