Michael's solo is fantastic. Dino's singing and Gary and John's guitar playing, they are the whole package! This is the best version of Fresh Air I have heard. In today's music world, this surely would be a #1 hit! Their music is timeless.
Many early QSM fans didn't like Dino rejoining the band as they thought he took them away from being a great "jam" band which they undoubtedly were, but for me he gave them more of a focused songwriting approach and hell they jam on this song just as much as their early stuff and it sounds great! Also, though he may not have been the best "technically gifted" singer ever, when he sang something you knew he meant it and I'll take that any day. You always know it's him when you hear him.
Put this band against the Stones any day & in my opinion, QMS is way more talented & way better to look at! You guys should have been huge - and this is from a girl's point of view. BTW, I played piano, guitar (I had a Gretch), accordian, organ....so I know a little about music!
the best live fresh air i ever seen.....thank you

Is Nicky Hopkins playing Keyboards?

@LuckyManG That's Michael Lewis. He was part of this version of QMS during the "Solid Silver" album and tour of 1975-1976.

Is Michael Lewis (organ player), still alive? My guess, not. If I'm wrong, what is he doing?

@kjay67 I agree...QMS is light years ahead of many other groups that made it big. John Cipollina was so underrated
