i recommend learning technique. from there, use your ear and feel what you play. sounds simple, right?

ok with marine bands in water BIG FREAKIN NO NO when the wood is in the water it (temporarily) expands therefore making it alot more airtight thus increasing tone however after not too long the wood shrinks back, smaller than it is originally and makes a little guillotine that will slice your lips, im no longer a marine band fan as the extended brass plates murder lips anyway

no. lol. I mean what key? And I stopped using Marines a while back. have you ever dug on a Lee Oscar. They are freakin awesome. Never turned back. By the way (it will ruin your harp BUT) have you ever tried dippin your Marine Band in water, tappin it quick and playing...the tone increases ten fold.

if any ones interested, according to Scientists dogs howl at harmonicas because it is simular to the howls the acient dogs used to communicate to each other and it triggers a gentic response to moan or howl back, it aint got anything to do with how bad or good you play  :)
