"North Sea Inferno" is the censored version of this in some countries. BTW this came out before even the first real Persian Gulf War... Premonition perhaps? ;)

There are two versions of the same game, Persian gulf inferno and North sea inferno.

However, i always wanted to complete this game, but after seeing "how good" is the ending, i think i'll pass.

When I tell people how old this game is they never believe me. This blows commander keen and duke nukem out of the water. Sweet memories. Game is really short, though. One of the few Amiga games I beat on the first day.

The hostages tell you the wire... But it's always the same one, so if you already know it you can skip them entirely like this guy does. But no, you don't have to guess, if you follow the 'plot'.

The animations weren't too shabby either for that time. But the really revolutionary thing about it was the feeling of realism, I think. This was the first game I ever played that really gave you a sense that you were actually shooting and killing someone, as opposed to other games which often consisted of hurling a bunch of pixels at a clown who froze and jumped off screen.. I loved this game so much.. Ya ah-madi!!
