  • One of the worlds most practical airplanes * * * * *

  • I fly the 4 seat piston engine version of this aircraft daily!

  • @sdrawkcab96 you are very fortunate!!!!

  • @sdrawkcab96 yeah its called the 172

  • Lovely

  • I like this plane but I like the DHC-3 turbine otter more...it just has more capabilities but if your just flying people back and forth and want to go a bit faster sure the 208 is good but up in alaska the turbine otter performs much better!

  • i jump out of these planes, couldnt ask for a more comfortable ride

  • nice

  • Not beautiful but I always wanted to try one, especially the turbo version. I've done a Kingair 200 and turboprops are such a different beast from pistons. But I digress.

  • @tsbrownie they only make the caravan in a turbine prop

  • @piloty5 You are right. Must have mixed it with something else or an early test version or such.

  • can you tell me your specs, especially the graphic card?

  • Lolz such a shame to see the comments below. Why would anybody compare Caravan to F16. OMG! Are u blind, Joe? This is a transport plane. Lol. Joe, I got the feeling u r not meant to be a pilot if u dont know how to compare. Pilots need good eyesight and judgement! oopss. Anyway I've earned 22 landings in my caravan ok! And I'm creating a video response at the same time. So peeps, becareful of what u post online!

  • "@madmanjoe I mean compare this to a fighter jet, pathetic. If you gave me a F16, I could fly from New York to London in probably about 20 minutes. This thing would run out of gas before even getting half way there." @madmanjoe let me give you some bad news... If you atempt to fly from New York to London with an F16 you will get out of gas long before a Cessna Caravan. And I know that because I'm in the Air Force anda currently studying to become a civilian pilot. And in 20m? Not even a SR71.

  • Good video,beutiful aircraft!

  • the fucking wheels don't even go up, they couldn't even find a decent plane to display in the video.

  • @weversonman With a fixed landing gear the aircraft has two advantages: 1. It can be used as a seaplane or a bush plane which it is. 2. Fixed landing gears have two less maintenance procedures which save the operator alot of money. The downside is ice accumulation on the landing gear and wing struts. Also: you seem to be thinking that this plane is some sort of attack or fighter aircraft. It is a utility aircraft designed for multiple use. Fed-Ex is the largest operator with over 2000.

  • what a stupid airplane, so slow I guarantee even a old world war II fighting plane could blow it to pieces with a missel.

  • @weversonman actually this is a very good plane and will get you from A to B safely and surely. you must be 6 years old.

  • @madmanjoe are you kidding me, that's what your legs are for. I bet you I could even outrun this thing in a race. What kind of plane uses a propeller these days, man I bet this plane is 6 years old. I mean compare this to a fighter jet, pathetic. If you gave me a F16, I could fly from New York to London in probably about 20 minutes. This thing would run out of gas before even getting half way there. No contest.

  • @weversonman who the fuck uses an F16 for transportation? f16 is a fighter jet, made for war!! This plane is excellent for transportation in places that you cant use jets like in many third world countries with few runways large enough for jet aircraft. Cessna is a world renown aircraft manufacturer and this plane was made for a certain purpose which i guess is too hard for your simple mind to comprehend.

  • @madmanjoe ok here let me make it very simple. Cessna = 200 mph, F16 equals 2000 mph. It's like comparing the wright brothers plane with a race car. Why on earth would you design such a lame plane when one 10000x better exists??

  • @weversonman like a said an f16 was desinged for a certain purpose as was this cessna. they are both good at what they do.

  • @madmanjoe but head to head the cessna gets embarassed.

  • @weversonman

You sound not too bright. If everyone used F16s for transportation, there will be several fatal crashes due to the speed and due to the delta wing configuration (that doesn't perform very well in stalls). In airplane design, stability and maneuverability don't go hand in hand, so engineers have to compromise the level of one at the expense of other.

Caravans are great 'mini buses' of the sky. Few have crashed due to bad mountain weather or icing, but now they have antiicing.

  • @weversonman you say something quite interesting by saying this plane is 6 years old... f16 = 32 years old...Madmanjoe is sooo right, sure the f16 is fast and can blow up pretty much everything, but the cessna was not designed for this. Also, a lot of planes still use propellors, first cheaper, less fuel, easier to fly, .....

  • @weversonman How old are you? Do you even have your license? And FYI MOST aircraft today use props. Go learn a thing or two about flying before you embarrass yourself again.

  • @weversonman you are such a stupid little kid that its not even funny, first of all you need to learn about somthing like this before you make comments like that, second, fighter jets and war birds have nothing to do with this plane, third, cessna is a great plane, fighter jets are for FIGHTS cessnas and other aircraft are for transport, and everyone else here is right and your WRONG, so go learn somhthing before you do this again, stupid armchair "pilot" if you could even be considerd that

  • Damn i love it

  • has anyone ever put a little bit bigger bush tires on here, and maybe an stol kit? i know they are great for bush work, but stock? or is there upgrades that have to be performed?

    Thanks

  • go to aviation safty network. net

this is a good plane? i lost my friend in one accident 3 months ago. not a good plane

  • @navajo1806 accidents arrive with porshes, doesn't make it a bad car. Same rule for the 208. I'm sorry about your friend... good luck...

  • @navajo1806

I guess you don't use any airliners?

  • i have made my cpl on a caravan

  • flying school bus

  • @europeanssuckcock A flying school bus many pilots want!

  • full tank and 3200 lbs payload would be an overloaded C208B

  • eautiful Video, I have 3000 hours in this plane above the Amazônia Forest, and never had a problem with this plane. Took off often with a full tank and 3200 pounds in the hold and have never experienced fear. I already landed on the ramp of grass, stone and the streets of some cities in amazonia. I already stopped the plane in 160 feet of track.

The best plane that I flew .

  • Incomparabale Power?? I'm sure it can use a bit more hp! 675 is NOT enough!

How about the PC12 engine:1× Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67B turboprop, 895 kW (1,200 shp)

  • As far as i know, the Year 2010 Grand Caravan comes with a 900shp Honeywell engine

  • @Helpmefly If that is so, it will be a great improvement.

  • Had a chance to sit up front in one of these! Its made for working, and working hard.

  • nice plane.....for warm climates. stay out of the ice.

  • the music sounds kinda sad. i dunno why. absolutly amazing aircraft though.

  • I'm flying one right now...

  • @swanie180

Have you ever forgotton about the bracing pole attached to the rear for loading?

  • Lucky you...!

Can you tell me the Start Up procedure..?

    Thanks..!

  • 4 by 4 of the skies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you gotta love it!

  • Just love it!
