  • Scott Rockenfield kicks ass on this song! You can now hear the killer drum stylings of the rychin' Mr. Rockenfield on the new Call of Duty Black Ops videogame. About time he got some just rewards and recognition. RYCHE ON!!!

  • this is the best cheesy video ever. this video tops any beiber or gaga video.

  • Is there a second part of this video? it says "to be continued" at the end.......

  • Goeff tate has the best voice then and now!! No one comes close to this masterpiece

  • "to be continued..." was it ever continued?

  • @NukeMTV I hope so =D

  • Daamn, this is one of my favourite songs =D

  • @MrYamato67 You mean when you were 16 or 17. This is off their 1983 album.

  • Q-Ryche apparently were big ealy Maiden fans and loved Black Sabbath as well

  • Sounds dead up like Iron Maiden, I actually thought it was Iron Maiden

  • Greatest. Video. Ever.

  • Sheer talent

  • GTA Vice City Stories brought me here, badass song

  • Hail the Reich!

  • @SSHyperborea lol im guessing by your name that isnt ironic

  • Wow, I was in high school, when my boyfriend from Seattle used to see Queensryche at a local park there. He turned me onto them back then, I'm 44, old now lol. Rychen my world !!! I love Queensryche, then and now. Bless you all, band and fans. Yaaaaa.

  • @rychengirl I'm 45 and from the Seattle area. I remember those days well. Seeing bands like Queensryche, Alice in Chains etc playing small clubs like the Phoenix and the Paramount Theater. I wish I could go back in time to 1990. I was young and WILD and we had ALL the great bands back then!!!! You could still smoke indoors, so you could get high at the concerts. Now I preach to my kids about not doing drugs and not drinking. Damn I miss the good old days! :)

  • this is what metals suppose to sound like

  • @TheSonsofHorusx HELLYEAH!!!!!!

  • Typical cheasy 80's metal story and videoclip... Can't beat that!!! Long live Queensrÿche!

  • haha. this is one the most rediculously horrible videos ive ever seen. almost as corny as van halens music video for pretty woman

  • @jjk696969 ..hahahahahaa wow eh terrible

  • I don't know who was first with this sound..and let me say i admire queensryche and think they're great! But this song really reminds me of ironmaiden...the pumping..the rythm, the melodies and geoff's way of singing, except for the really high notes..anyone that agree? :P

  • This has got to be in the top 10 cheesiest metal videos ever made.

  • @TheMiggitymark I'm just glad they didn't do anymore like it.

  • Wow, they have changed a lot.

  • Thumbs up if your hear, because damian(makemebad35) said this was his favorite band.

  • This song just proves that Geoff Tate is one of the most under rated singers of the 80's - early nineties!!!

  • Best Ryche Album!

  • oh man, this video is funny as hell, brings back some memories, used to listen to this song all the time

  • I used to listen to this song all the time

  • The instrumentals aren't bad, hate the vocals.

  • @kugotsumin

What do you hate about early Tate? He has one of the most flawless voices of all time (in the mid-80s, of course).

  • @resurgam44 I just don't like high pitched hair metal voices.

  • @kugotsumin fuck u

  • @srhstonersk8r no u

  • @kugotsumin u got me there

  • i love the video and Tate voice awesome!!

  • There is NO escape....... from hearing the iconic voice of Tate!

  • gracias por poneerlo mil gracis!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i still love this song

  • ...Wow... this is so much better than what we have now. I don't care that it is cheesy, this is still better than what we got now. I love this video and the music!

  • @C9XGMR YES..and can he ever sing!!!

  • lmfao!!

  • so was it...was it ever continued? :|

  • I remember seeing this video when I was 9yrs old at my cousins house. I was a young metal fan, LOL.

  • I lived in Bellevue WA in '82 where these guys are from, (except for S.R. Redmond High), when they started to hit it. I used to shop at the record store on Bel-Red Rd. where some of them worked before anyone heard of them. They ruled when they played metal, after that junk. Sorry guys, but it's true.

  • omg, i never saw this, and i had this ep in 1984. lol. talk about cheesy.

  • @TRYKRCYN i was born in '84 out a cheesy vagina..... talk bout chuck e- cheeses that nigga had our melt on lock down

  • If only the had kept playing songs like this...

  • This and Eye of a Stranger are some on the best metal songs ever. Love the voice also.

  • This is literally the only song I've ever liked from this band...and to think they did this, but everything else sucks!

  • @FullTraction4 your an idiot. eyes of a stranger and suite sister mary are some of the best songs ever composed.

  • @bonfirejovi It's quite obvious that you suck dick..those are some of the worst fucking songs ever written.

What kind of faggot name is that anyway? Is that your way of saying you want to tongue John Bon Jovi's asshole????

  • @FullTraction4 I suck dick.... and I love metal. Always have, since the 80s. What is it with metal guys and homophobia? I am gay, fag whatever you want to call it. I am just tired of the anti-gay slurs. And, by the way, not all gay men want anything to do with the anal canal or go near it... yet I knew a few straight guys that didn't mind having it played with. Go figure.

  • @cjs33139 Same here, dude. Way I see it, if Rob Halford is gay, one officially has no right to complain about gays in metal.

  • @TwoCows23 Thanks. Most straight metal heads need to let go of the antigay bigotry. Every time I see a negative comment directed at men these days, especially on YT, there is always some anti-gay slur involved! and they like to use it because what better slur to use against a man than accuse him of sucking cock? LOL It's just plain rude and immature. There have always been gays/bi's in metal, most closeted. At least if you are going to insult someone, use something original.

  • @FullTraction4 agree with you , rest doesn't compare to this song, this one feels like someone else made it.

  • Even though Geoff Tate hates metal, he was responsible for one of the most METAL songs ever and that is this song.

  • wtf

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA wow this is lame...

  • great song

XD

  • Could this be... the best music video ever..?

  • Great song, great video n great band, this is real music, not like shit these days...

  • For the life of me I can't remember how I stumbled on this EP way back when but loved it from the opening wail. HOWEVER, WTF were we thinking while making these vids in the 80's?

  • @fallsch275 I read your comment and knew we were the same age.

  • 1 word to discribe this band epic

  • 3:59

  • remember the days....

  • "In the millennium after the 4th Great War the world was in chaos. An

evil adventurer had discovered an ancient computer energized by a crystal so

powerful that it enabled her to enslave the world and to become Queen...

'Queen of the Reich'. Many tried to destroy the Queen and failed only to

absorbed into her computer shrine. Mankind's last hope was the five freedom

    fighters..."

  • I remember people saying that Queensryche sounded like Iron Maiden back then and they did some what but not too much.I think Geoff at his best sounds better than Dickinson although I am a huge fan of both.Queensryche really became unique with their release of rage for order.

  • @blitzspeer I agree on all accounts

  • @blitzspeer i'll say he's better than bruce but not better than halford

  • just awesome

  • Run Idenitification: Queensryche

Run Conclusion: Greatest metal video of all time

    Run Recommendation: STFU

  • This song roxors

  • wasnt the 80s great?,

  • the song is one of their best but man the video is ridiculous in every way, the guns they hold are like vibrators!!!! :-))))

  • This ep changed my life. Wish they would have continued on this path.

  • @fortancient as good as this song is...if they kept playing this they would of never made it.besides...operation midecrime is a billion times better then this.this is crap compared to mindcrime.

  • @fortancient ...Amen!

  • I love 80's videos !! It was cheap but full of imagination !!

  • my girlfriend gets wet when she listen to his song thats why i listen to it everyday =D

btw im metallic love slipknot but she's kind of old rock but i love her she's so hot metal girls and emo are so fricking hot i love you ashley

  • lol reminds me of powerman 5000

  • one of the best voices ever in rock / metal

  • I have heard this song in " grand theft auto vice city stories "

  • @Ery155 duh!!

  • Cool song, and I like this guitar solo.

  • video in the early days were very theatrical

  • If you would have told me Queensryche would become one of my all time favorite bands when this vid came out, I would have laughed right in your face. I was not into big hair metal in the 80's. Could not stand a guy with better hair, makeup, or tighter jeans than me, back in the day. Was more into R&B, Soul, Club music then. I got caught up in 1999 with QR and there was no stopping me after that. I am a certified QR stalker now. I THINK I'm growing up. ; ) RYCHE ON!!!

  • back when they were good

  • My first concert was AC/DC and Queensryche - take this video in context...in the early 80's this was COOL..

  • So cheesy.. yet so good!

  • @FlintMontana You managed to hit the nail on the head from hundred yards away. You win! ^_^

  • Great song and a very 80's video! I like how the band said the girl who played the Queen was like 6ft 5in! LOL!

  • The queen has hypnotized me with her magical chest orbs of evil.

  • The video could be about smurfs for all I care.... because his vocals ROCK!

  • the bass player to this band is my uncle :D

  • dt is good but come on guys this is a great song yeah stupid vid but listin to his singing its great long live Iron Maiden

  • This song as all songs on the EP were all Demos. Great sound

  • dude if u dont like the band then dont even waste time watching the video or even posting a stupid comment. cause i dont go to a "DT" and post a stupid comment.

  • @BlackSabbath830702 These guys are one of dream theatre's biggest influences.........

  • @BlackSabbath830702 this WAS early in QR's career and an early video (likely coaxed by the record company, though I cannot say for certain). Personally I don't like Dream Theatre - real prog music is bands like Uriah Heep, Rush, and Pink Floyd. DT may have good players, but that does not necessarily translate to great entertainers, which QR most definitely are.

  • @BlackSabbath830702 idiot comment

  • @BlackSabbath830702 I completely agree with you, mate. Everyone who disagrees is blinded by their fandom

  • @BlackSabbath830702

There's a big difference in music style, I think Queensryche just doesn't fit your taste. A metalband is something quite different than a car, they are not machines. Faster, more skilled musicians doesn't always make it better. I mean, Yngwie Malmsteen is a genius guitarplayer, but still, his music is nothing compared to Tony Iommi's although it's much more simple.

  • the video is not very lame its funny

  • @senecadawg2 watta idiot...

  • Great song. Awful compression. Looks like satellite TV during a solar flare.

  • THIS SONG IS SO ALIVE THAT WAKES UP ALSO THE DEADONE!!!!!!!!

  • eddie jackson looks like a bit like eddie ojeda i think?

  • @MyRock4life LOL! Yeah, imagine Geoff and Dee on the same stage? That would be.....interesting.

  • Fucking so seriously awesome! \m/

  • Look how young Geoff is Omg, love his voice and this band,, forever.

  • geoff tate es el mejor cantante man!!

  • I hate when people make homophobic remarks to great videos like this, I think the problem is people are so insecure now that hey just try to make them seem cooler? Idk, well your the one missing out on good music, and btw these guys got more pussy than anyone of you will get in your life time.

  • @AngeloGrazianoo You can be assured most of those homophobic comments are from teenage boys, most of whose balls haven't dropped yet. Too insecure in their own sexuality to constantly drop faggot this, gay that. Silly little boys. lol Maybe because Mr. Tate isn't screaming like a gorilla pissed that someone made off with his bananas makes them think it's so. They missed out and continue to miss out. Their loss.

  • @Vattens I couldn't agree more

  • This is silly but not nearly as bad as The Last In Line video

  • Hands down one of the greatest dual lead runs \m/ ,...

  • Love this song. The video is a bit cheesy, but in a cool 80s way.

  • @DanteUmbra

TE SEI DI FORI DI CERVELLO

  • Greatest music video ever?

  • great song from a awesome band, but the video is corny as ever! lol

  • Comment removed

  • video bites! but I loved this EP when it first came out

  • One of the most ''dramatic'' beginnings of some songs. Always loved Geoff's voice. Queensryche rulezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Queensryche was basically America's answer to Iron Maiden. They were one of the many bands of that era that reminded the Brits that they didn't have the monopoly on 80's new wave metal.

  • It seems they had quite a Iron Maiden fetish back then.

  • Watch this and then go watch the vid for Lee Aaron's Metal Queen... gotta be the same director, crew and film stage lol. Classic 80's Metal!!!

  • Now this is an epic song. And the video is so cheesy but fun to watch and totally creative.

  • This makes "Kiss Meets the Phantom" look like "Citizen Kane"! Love the 'Ryche....... but , JESUS!

  • classic

  • 1:38 his voice is awesome!

  • Yes, we all know this video is cheesy, but how awesome is the guitar solo in this song? Gotta love those harmonizing guitars. This band had one of the greatest guitar duos in rock and roll. What's even more impressive is that Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton were barely out of their teens when this album came out.

  • este si que es heavymetal del autentico..lastima que no siguieron en la misma linea en sus discos posteriores

  • Great song but this video is even more ridiculous then the Motley Crue looks that kill video....

  • Love the video, but I prefer the song!

  • Saw them play this live while opening for Judas Priest about 4 years ago. I went out of my f@#king mind! Such a great classic metal song.

  • if bruce dickonson, geoff tate, rob halford, and king diamond sang in harmony, the world will shatter

  • His voice reminds me of Bruce Dickinson... heavy metal FOREVER! \M/

  • same here with Bruce

  • Ridiculously corny video, but great song and amazing solo.

  • shiiitttttttt!

  • Never mind the video, the music is great. Back in the early 80's it was the first song I ever heard of the band. Of course they blow the whole music away with their masterpiece : Operation Mindcrime. Up to this very day I keep on playing that fabulous record.

  • best ryche release. the ep rules

  • Best Queensryche song ever!!!,although the video is lame.

  • @miachevydude oops I meant to thumbs down your comment because the video is not lame but it i s the best queensryche song ever it's my favorite one!

  • @miachevydude Are you kidding me, this has to be the greatest music video of all time!

    This is pure metal magic!

  • this is the only song i like

  • this song bring back the old days kick ass song love it

  • Looks a little with the powerful old Judas Priest before Turbo album.

  • World War 4 I love it..................

  • The Queensrÿche EP is older than Helloween KOTSK...

  • @darthmauritron

It is as old as Helloween.

  • @LouisLeGros thiss is older than helloween. kiske was inspired by geoff. thats y kiske sounds like geoff.

  • @mayatmaot

This EP came out the same year as Helloween were formed (or at least changed their name to Helloween)

  • @LouisLeGros helloween formed in 1984. trust me, i am a die hard helloween fan. queensryche formed in 1981. queensryche is 3 years older than helloween. helloween recorded on the death metal ep in 1984. queensryche recorded their ep in 1981. so, queensryche is older than helloween.

  • @mayatmaot

I didn't say Helloween were older than Queensryche. Queensryche recorded the EP in 82 and it was released in 83, the same year that Helloween were formed (and making this EP as old as Helloween). Death Metal wasn't released till 84, but the members of Iron Savior and Powerfool came together as a band and would change their to Helloween in 83.

  • @LouisLeGros Queensryche EP - 1983

Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys - 1987.

    'Ryche is older...

  • @darthmauritron

Helloween are quite a bit older than Keep Of The Seven Keys, besides my comment was saying that the EP was as old as Helloween. Since Queensryche is older than their EP of course they are older than Helloween.
