  • @Quasimoto44 You aging right-wing babyboomers are so fucking sad. You're fat, boring, stupid, unfuckable, you live in red-state wastelands dominated by corporate chain stores and your children hate you. You wake up Christmas morning and what's the first thing you do? Post three crazed, FEAR-THE-COMMIES propaganda bits taken from King Tard himself Jonah Goldberg all about how Rousseau was secretly Hitler or something.

    Merry Christmas, you sad sacks.

  • Spread the word to all those who love freedom and understand the founding principles this great country was built on just how dangerous this man - and the underlining philosophy - is to the Republic. I never thought I would see something like this presented as legitimate thought in America.

  • You right-wing sheep know nothing about Venezuela or Chavez, yet you call him a 'dictator'? How in the fuck is the man a dictator? By what definition? Could you please explain? Is it because he offends the tiny sliver of pale-faced, Gucci-wearing oligarchical overlords that has run the country with an iron-fist for centuries?

"Democracy" does not mean "Do what corporate interests want--when they want."

  • How bout we let the people of Venezuela tell you you're a jackass:

Most Venezuelans Call Chávez a Dictator

August 31, 2009 The majority of people in Venezuela think president Hugo Chávez is turning into a dictator, according to a poll by Alfredo Keller y Asociados. 53 per cent of respondents share this view, while 47 per cent disagree.

We know how bad you new Democrats (Neo-COMMs) want a Socialist society here too with all your hopey changey BS. Change America... to Venezuela! Crack Kills!

  • First: I'm a Democrat? What? Oh, that's right: in the cock-impaled brain of a rightwinger, if you hate the rightwing, you must be a part of the other, non-Republican corporate political faction known as the "Democratic Party."

  • Second: if you believe that poll, enjoy the buzz, comrade! If you think that pollsters do not use their 'findings' to further an agenda, especially in a country in which the moneyed establishment has tried numerous times to assassinate the democratically elected leader, well...no sense arguing with you. (see: Luntz, Frank; Rasmussen, Scott).

  • "According to the previously-mentioned Alfredo Keller information, in June 2006, 64% of Venezuelans had a positive opinion of Chavez? But according to the latter, in July 2006, about one month later, and quoting the same pollster, only 27% of Venezuelans would have voted for Chavez?"

    What a great polling firm!

  • stormsg1,

I just saw that you keep Glenn Beck videos saved in your profile. Dude, I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Look, if you need some bus fare home, I can pitch in. Really. It's no problem. Is there someone you want me to call to come pick you up?

  • That's alright, your mom got me. I didn't have any cash and you know the old saying... no one rides for free. I paid and paid and paid. Then I paid some more.

  • I'm confused: you want my mom to peg you in the ass with a strapon?

  • @cronksty

Lenin believed that people were Darwinian animals, and their behavior should be molded by government into ideal servants of the State. He even tried to employ Ivan Pavlov, the famous Russian animal behaviorist, to develop a "program" to "standardize the behavior of the proletariat. Pavlov was absolutely shocked!

  • @cronksty

Of course the origins of this idea came from Jean-Jacques Rousseau, who said people’s educations should be limited and molded to make them “good servants of the State”! Karl Marx inherited this concept through his father, a Rousseauan professor at the Univ. of Berlin. Mark Lloyd is simply a disciple of Lenin!

  • Anyone that cares about authentic journalism and has worked within corporate media can tell you that everything Mark Lloyd says is correct.

Which means that Barack Obama will, sooner or later, throw him to the wolves.

  • Mark Lloyd is revealing what a fraud and hack he is by advocating for Chavez. You see I know people from Venezuela and they know what a fiend Chavez is. This Lloyd is a fraud and a hack. He never would have got into U of Michigan or Georgetown Law School without affirmative action. There are tons of media for liberal points of view. There's ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, and many, many more. Lloyd wants to destroy talk radio because he hates free markets. He's another socialist Obama pig!

  • Actually, it was a CIA-backed media that set up a phony riot slaughter which ultimately played into the coup and a short-lived conviction and arrest of Chavez. Evidently, that's the reason for Chavez' push to eliminate private run media. But as far as Chavez being a bed of roses, this guy is nothing short of a fool.

  • Not the CIA (where is the evidence they did?). When Chavez was initially elected he told the people that if there came a point where they did not want him they could march to the presidential palace and tell him so. So they did (over a million) and his hordes of supporters attack the marchers (there is video of his supporters shooting at the protesters). When this did not work, he asked the military to forcefully stop the marchers. They refused and he resigned all of this is well documented.

  • A cretin like you who barges in here with no ensemble of intellectual integrity and spews ill-informed remarks has no credibility to begin with.

Chavez promised to employed his Socialistic agenda back in 2001-2002 including the nationalization of petroleum industry. This raised concerns with the pro-Capitalist members of Venezuela society along with the State Department and CIA -- for obvious reasons: oil.

  • Google for "video THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED"

Then the privately own media called for action and all of a sudden military high personals demanded him to step down or "else" (read: coup d'etat). On the day of demonstrations, the opposition moved to the presidential palace and confronted the pro-Chavez crowd but all of sudden the Chavez supporters came under sniper attack. Chavez supporters started shooting at the snipers in the buildings.

  • Watch the video at 33:0; it shows a supporter shooting "upward" into the building where the snipers had hold out and NOT into the crowd down below. However, the privately owned media falsely, with malice and forethought, reported that the pro-Chavez supporters shot at the people down below the bridge. But the matter of fact is, there was NO opposition people to begin with and pro-Chavez people were defending themselves from the snipers up in the buildings.

  • Now watch the whole ordeal from the different angle, 34:00 which shows the pro-Chavez crowd being under attack and shooting at the snipers. Again, the clip shows there was no opposition crowd down below and as a matter of fact, their march never took that route in the first place. Then the head of the oil companies went on the TV demanding the military to get Chavez out of the office. If that wasn't enough, the military took over the government broadcasting station.

  • If that wasn't enough, the privately own media announced to the entrapped members of the Chavez' cabinet in the presidential palace to surrounder and the generals who had come to the palace to extract Chavez' resignation by force threatened to "bomb" the buildings; a clear indication of coup. So the next time you decide to fabricate stories, make sure you don't get caught red handed in the cookie jar.

  • About our media, the people vote with their dollars, by supporting advertisers of the shows they like. Why should we subsidize the likes of Air America. You want your liberal media keep watching it and support their advertisers.

  • When you have no real arguments and can only quote official CubaZuelan propaganda flick "The Robolution will not be .....", you resort to insults. I will not take the low road like you. I will not call you a "Pendejo Util" even if Lenin would.

God Bless America and all of it's wonderful freedom fighters for without her and their sacrifice there would be very little freedom in the world today.

  • Once your prevarication was exposed and saw no way out, you chose to deny anything that was presented to you with no semblance of rebuttal; bravo cupcake. You resort to name calling me a "pendejo util" yet don't have a cojones to admit that you just violated your own principle. What more evidence can I ask for to illustrate you moral bankruptcy? At least be a man and profess that your rear was handed to you on a diamond platter.

  • "propaganda flick"

Yes, a documentary shot by Irish RTE network. After all, they are public broadcasting, right? So they must smell like a bug-eyed "Communist!" Your desperation is very unbecoming.

  • " goto the presidential palace and tell him so. So they did (over a million)"

You sound like a fool who wants to believe his own concocted version of history. The opposition had rallied in support of the fired oil managements and weren't even supposed to march toward the presidential palace.

  • They "illegally," without the approval from the law enforcement, altered their marching route knowing full well that they will come in confrontation with the Chavez' supporters who had legally held their demonstration around the presidential palace. And quit it with exaggeration; the opposition was in the range of 150k-200k, not a million. Try honestly for a change.

  • "his hordes of supporters attack the marchers (there is video of his supporters shooting at the protesters)"

I just showed you the very clip that refutes that very lie which was manufactured by the privately owned media with ties to special interest. But that just shut you up in your track, didn't it or else you would have challenged it. If all fails, you simply began deflecting rather than arguing against the evidence showed to you.

  • That's a low that you can never recover from so you went into fits of hysteria about patriotism and other irrelevant piffle. You got caught in your web of lies, now you feel like you can masturbate your way out of it. Running a bit dry, huh mate?

  • "he resigned"

There is no signed document by him or anyone else that would validate such claim. He forcefully stepped down after top military officials coerced him to leave his post but "refused" to resign, hence taken into custody. I dare you to provide any verifiable document adjuring to such baseless claim. You sound like a misinformed goon who seeks to promote his own sense of skewed reality.

  • Bozo Carmano then went on to dissolve any constitutional institution which led to the lost of support among the military ranks and eventual of several hundred thousands of people jamming the presidential palace, requesting Chavez' return. And the fact that the Bush administration denounced the coup is telling -- they insisted rather on a "constitutional" change than a military coup. Oh by the way, several of planners had also visited the US officials a few weeks prior to the actual coup. Hmm..

  • Chavez is a nut case and delusional but so are people like you who paint the world in black and white and blindly accept any piece of trash they pick up to pander to their confirmation bias. Consider yourself schooled. Now take a hike.

  • I will not be responding to any more of your incoherent jiberish. However I am concerned about your anger management issues, for that I leave you a heart felt commie prayer. repeat as often as needed. Lenin loves you! This I know, For the Manifesto tells you so; Young and Old to Him belong, They are weak but He is strong. Yes, Lenin loves you! Yes, Lenin loves you! Yes, Lenin loves you! Fidel and Hugo tells you so. Patria, Socialismo o Muerte! Ciao PU!
  • I did not call you a "pendejo util", however if the shoe fits wear it. I know people in and out of the Chavez mis-Administration. I used to think Venezuela could not have a worse president than Carlos Andres Perez. I was unfortunately wrong. The only people that are having their asses handed to them are the Venezuelan people. The empirical evidence will determine who is right and who is wrong about what is happening in Venezuela not your rhetoric or mine. Remember Lenin Loves You!

  • You did indeed label me as "pendejo util" except that you, first, dastardly implied it but didn't have a moxie to admit to it, and second, you violated your own principle without realizing it; plausible deniability won't get you far in life. A monkey on gator's shoulder shrieks:

"I know people in and out of the Chavez administration."

Haha, and? Was your prattle meant to serve any point here? Of course, losing the debate demands certain employment of irrelevancy at some point.

  • I wasn't discussing the social and economical condition of Venezuela but rather debunking your false canard vis-a-vis the events leading to coup d'etat. But I suppose having an attention span of a 5-year-old has impeded you to remain on the topic at hand once again. Why do you keep embarrassing yourself?

  • And of course, when confronted with an ocean of verifiable evidence debunking every single hokum you mustered, you resort to puerility and publicly decrying your abandonment of discourse. You're nothing but a punk and it shows. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

P.S. Next time you want to sound like an intellectual handicap, make sure your lame brain poetry lives up to its soporific ballyhoo.

  • Oh god, what has this country done. Grab your guns and get ready

  • When this guy gets through with this Country you won't have to worry about refugees coming from Cuba, It's going to be the other way around

  • Are we awake yet?

  • This is a madman

  • this idiot wouldn't understand Chavez if he spit in his face

  • Oh, I think he understands Chavez completely. I think he is absolutely on the same wave length with him.

I would agree with you that he is an idiot. But much more. A very dangerous bureaucrat with a frightening agenda to squelch free speech.

  • First he thinks Chavez had Democratic Revolution. Second he wants to talk about having a conversation, but basically calls John McCain ancient, and Barck Obama a visionary. This is just another example of how a liberal defines a fair honest debate.

  • He is one psycho idiot.

  • Elections have consequences. This jerkwad is one of them.

  • This man is so far out that he places Chavez as a hero for taking the media in Venezuela. He is now placed in the FCC by Obama and is now in a new position to put private radio out of business to fund the National Public Radio. His proposal will end opposition speech in America. There is no one in America that should want free speech stopped, but this administration has found a way.
