Is there anything playable yet? This sounds way cool. And I've had several dreams where I was playing Maniac Mansion, yet got to rooms/parts/events that didn't actually exist in the game (none of them involved that staircase, though!)
I think he (or they) used the "tuna head" too often. It was funny seeing it one time at the end of Maniac Mansion but now I'm only at 2 minutes and I've already seen it twice

I really like your intro. It's true to the original. It would be perfect if you got someone to proof your dialogue. Other than that, it's great!

A nice thing to do would be just improving the original and adding a character design for the 3rd kid. Like you can change his look and name.
