@FalonGrey I wondered the same thing for a while. If she (I remember reading that this Wampa was a she) were trying to dry him out, she would probably have skinned him first (Predator style FTW!).

I guess, though, that the nature of the wampa is not to wait until they get hungry to eat, rather they KO their victims, and store them alive for later consumption so that they don't decay.
