The Survivor Series format would have been that much more interesting if all of the winners would have went to a battle royal or another Survivor Series match where the winner or Sole Survivor would have gotten a title shot....Hence it is a Surivor SERIES....In other words Royal Rumble concept for winner
@jman61828 I believe they did this in 1990 sans the world title shot. They also did something like this in the early 90's in WCW. They had a tag team tournament and the winners of the tag team matches were involved in a battle royal to determine the #1 contender for the world title. I forget which PPV it was though
This was a BIG deal I remember. The launch of their second pay per view off WM3 was just crazy. To see them in the same ring together was something we all waited for the whole year.
I also remember going crazy because I didn't know how to get this on pay per view being a little kid, and also being in Canada.
Poor Honky. Team Macho took them apart like a squad of Navy Seals.
