A great local lad called Kevin Barry Parker would be most interested to find out more about this sort of video experience. He's a great darlo lad and he often uses the same route to practice his video road trips. He even attempts to sing the tune. He especially likes the bit at 2:50 when you can see the old sanderson ford garage.... it isn't there anymore. He often shouts: 'there's the sanderson ford garage, there's the sanderson ford garage.. it's not there anymore' haha great dalro lad.
One of those videos are are - in all respect - completely silly, yet you just can't help but watch because its also so engaging. Anyway, we've added it to our TheCulturalThing documentaries playlist.
@KamanchiSly I left 20 years ago and I agree. Anyone remember to subterranean toilets on the High Row? Just the job after a hard night's boozing in the Old Dun Cow or the Green Dragon! Happy days :-)
@ashbytimuk Yeah I remember those underground toilets, You would never know they where there now though, but the Green Dragon is still open (and its still called the green dragon).
Crombie's restaurant is nice except they make their potato with smash :o( and i soooooooo wish we had a HUGE tesco instead of the ickle tesco express we have in the town. Those 'say no to tesco' peeps were a bunch of w*nkers!
@IIIIIlIIIIIlIIIIlIlI No way, it'd have put half the town centre out of business if they'd built it on the Town Hall site like they were going to. Maybe if it was on Grange Road where Sainsbury's is
Am I the only one who thinks High Row is better now? It just feels like there's more open space

Not a bad town at all. Shame it`s full of cowardly, small-minded morons at night. Makes you want to move.

Darlington A167(North) > left onto B6443 Centeal avenue.
If you miss it or can't find your way there with the directions above you really should be supervised 24/7

@LisaM4612 Or alternatively we could have one in the town centre which is much more convenient for people who don't drive.
