BARBRA'S one of the greatest singers of the 20th century. Her range and tone are both unbelievable. I used to watch the fidelity "needles" on my old 70's tape recorder go crazy, wild, back and forth when I was recording her. Only one other lady came close and that was Linda Ronstadt.

I always loved Barbra's singing. Hit the high notes without screaming, unlike so many others that need to be going a little out of bounds to hit those high notes. Barbra always gives me the chills. The applause that was rendered during the beginning of the song was the audience showing appreciation, and she loved it. Not a problem, and not unusual with top vocalists.

Her "nasal" quality is a result of her deviated septum, coupled with her perfect pitch, results in the most important voice of the 20th century and beyond. Also she has a tone over tone quality which sets her apart from anyone else, she is a "perfect storm"of vocal ability. It is a matter of taste, as to weather one likes her or not, but that her voice is amazing has not ever been in question.
