Must have been the longest flight ever.for me it is at least because I live in sg and I am getting so tired of these long flights.Did you ever fly do Frankfurt from Singapore? Because I can only tell you don't fly the Boeing 747 lufthansa airplane to frankfurt they don't have any personal screens in economy class. Your going to be so bored if you are not tired!!

@PanicAmo Wie bist du denn drauf? Man klatscht vielleicht bei tuifly oder anderen Touri-Fliegern auf dem Weg nach Malle. Aber sicher nicht auf normalen Business/Langstreckenflügen.

@kingmalebu natürlich bin ich mir sicher, dass es eine A340 war! Die A340-600 bei Lufthansa haben Treppen, denn die Toiletten in der Eco sind im Untergeschoss. Airbus - und Jumbo-Winglets unterscheiden sich außerdem! Eindeutig Airbus A340-600, die Reg war DAIHO

@kingmalebu Man kann aber an den Klappen eindeutig erkennen, dass es eine A340-600 ist! Bei einer 747 sehen die ganz anders aus wenn die rausgefahren sind! Außerdem hat das Triebwerk, dass man unter der Tragfläche sieht eine ganz andere (größer und längere) Form als die Triebwerke der 747

@kingmalebu Ich denke mal, dass wenn man irgendwo hin fliegt, weis man auch welches Flugzeug das ist. Zudem gibt es beim Gate auch Monitore, wo Abflug, Ankunft und Flugzeug angezeit ist. Wie es in München ist, keine Ahnung. In Frankfurt zumindest wird es angezeigt.

Ich find das soo Geil wenn man durch die wolken fliegt und dann den blauen himmel und die sonnen sieht! =D ich liebe es zu fliegen =D allerdings bin ich bis jetzt immer nur kurze strecken geflogen " in den urlaub halt" aber nur innerhalb von europa! würde auch gerne mal in so einer großen Maschine fliegen =D aber dafür musst halt auch weit weg fliegen =D

That is LH790. It leaves MUC at 22:40 these days. People like to fly at home on the long hauls it seems. Especially pax connecting to Australia & NZ.

Yes, these days. But in Winter 2009/2010 it was a day flight. FA told me that Passengers didnt like that at all and this is way from Feb 1/2009 they changed to nightflight. My returnflight LH791 was the last "day"-flight return from SIN. I didnt mind = 12 hrs of complete day flight is no problem!

you are wrong. In Lufthansa A340-600, A330-300 in ECO there are PTV, in the A340-300 they are getting installed. The only longhaul-Aircraft from LH without PTV is the 744!

So this is ECO! Seat 55K

es gibt keine grade strecke zwischen münchen und singapur, man muss zwischendurch die "airways" wechseln.

ich hab mir das mit überfliegen gesperrter oder unsicherer lufträume erklärt, das ist ja afghanistan. war auch dem rückflug übrigens ähnlich.  das 180-gtrad-heading ging ein gutes stück, bevor wir dann wieder in richtung indien eingeschlagen haben. ist aber letztlich auch, wie Flow198812 beitrag, spekulativ. da wird nur der/ein kapitän helfen....

As you can see: YES

Lufthansa has PTV on every A330-300, on every A340-600. They now began with Airbus A340-300, all DUS-based A343 got them and the MUC-based and FRA-based will have them in the next 12 months. Jumbos are to get them too in future.
