i was the only one that could ride him apart from the od time my brothers got on him on the lead line any way i got a new 3 year old cob and i was planning on just keeping zebs as a pet but he was on loan to me and she said when we moved i could take him with me but because i got another horse she wanted him back so i said come get him to night i wasnt paying for him for 6 months for him to just sit there and her to get him anyway

omg! i know how you feel. *pats your shoulder comfortingly* My horse Shilah had to be put to sleep on July/7th/2008. and I will never forget her. I owned her for only forteen months. But she was 23 so when she got a twist in her intestine, they ran test after test. then they found out that she was becoming dehydrated, which meant she was not taking in the fluids that they were giving her. so we made the decision to put her to sleep. *hugs* you may see him again, he's not dead so don't lose hope!

You never will forget. I can remember back 44 years like it was yesterday, but I also have the most wonderful memories ever. YOU DO TOO!! I have no movies. No pictures. But wonderful, wonderful memories. The only bad one was of him leaving. We have to be grateful for what we had. And very grateful the memories were not of horrid things that some have had to endure. Well, when he is 20 or 25 he will still be YOUR baby. That is how we had Knicky for 30= years. My daughter refused to pass him on. She said rather than giving him up she would do without another bigger pony. Remembering how I loved the 1rst pony, I kept him forever for her. And all her others too! Wish I could for you too. You never know in 5 or 10 years if you will have him back. Who knows, he may train YOUR little girl. lol

Its nice you have the option. Where we are ladys outside all the time and has no shelter for rain or sun it bothers me alot not even some trees. However its the only stables in the whole city so we have no choice putting her there. Hence they can charge what they want as they know people have no other place to go. Thats why i want to move to a bigger house with land so i can have her with me every day and make some money as well.

Nothing like a good strong pony as a teacher. They compensate for all our mistakes and usually forgive us as we learn. It is how I learned too, but on a black show shetland that could jump the pants off mnost of the show jumpers around and LOVED to race my bud's QH and won every race! We didn't have a beach. Just a long stretch of field. Brings me back....................

haha hes amazing i have been riding my hole life but had a bit of a fright when i was 10 so i gave it up untill i was 14 then i started helping my m8t with there show horses and went from show to show as a groom then i got millie and zebs almost the same month lol i got millie when i was 15 and then we got zebs for my brothers
