this place is the worst place ever...the customer service is a three ring circus..they are liars and if you have a family you are better off at the holiday inn express down the road. the rooms are filthy and the pool is packed. I was apalled at what they promised and what they delivered. It is amazing to me that people are still ripping people off during hard times....you people are crooks.
Are you sure you are talking about Star Island on Rte 192 in Kissimmee, FL? With the TGIFridays at the entrance and the CiCi's Pizza across the street? The worst place ever??? Holiday Inn??? Are you serious?? If you rrecommend the Holiday Inn over this place then I need a bag od that stuff you are smoking, because you've GOTS to be high! Star Isalnd is "DA BOMB"!!! I have been an owner almost 5 years and I have never experienced anything close to what you are talking about.
Star Island Resort and Club is the best bang for your buck in the Walt Disney World Resort Area and the best vacation spot in Orlando Florida. The people who work there are one of my reasons, they are friendly and really seem to enjoy their jobs. I love the golf range, the watersports on the lake, the supervised kids activities, the exercise and work-out facility at the club is the best I have ever seen at a timeshare resort anywhere in the world.

Their committment to guest satisfaction shows in the way they care for the property and the way they handle themselves and their business.
I can never get enough of this resort when i visit, I have even fished in the lake there and caught fish!!
The food in the restaurants is always good, especially when it is delivered to your room!
I get a massage, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi, and play tennis and all this is less than 5 minutes to Disney World and Great Golf!
